If you have other choices, DON NOT stay here. Because for the same price, you deserve a better environment and service. The motel itself is really old and the spa pool doesn’t work. And we finished the check in by calling them because there was no one in the reception at around 3pm weekdays. By the way, the location is quiet good and convenient:

Location 8/10 Service 1/10 reception was unattended when I arrived, took a while to check in. Rude lady called me a liar when she messed up my room Cleanliness 5/10 Price 4/10 Room 2/10 very dated. Got catfished by this place, online it looks like a nice weekend getaway. Upon arrival I saw that most of the motel was full of bums, and homeless people. Stayed for 3 nights and didn’t get much sleep, lots of screaming outside from the other residents. Will definitely not be returning

Company fase advertised facilities and items available in rooms when they had not had these for over six months. Lodge does not have anyone on site to talk to and refuses to come and speak to you in person. They hang up on you if you raise any issues with them. Currently going through small claims with lodge as it has resulted in a bigger issue. Please also be aware that there is emergency housing on site so you will be staying alongside domestic arguments throughout the night. Graffiti in your room. Condition of lodge is poor and run down. Do not recommend at all

Good location but terrible room. Reception is not attended you need to call them for anything. Room had sticky floor, sink was broken mold on the walls and dishes were dirty. I was not sure when the bathroom was cleaned last. At lest the bed had been made. Stay anywhere else especially for the price.Rooms: 1/5

Stayed over for two nights and was not impressed. The room was mostly dirty with the blanket full of holes and disgusting stains. Luckily we brought our own blankets for the night. The tv cable was broken and we could not watch for the night. Also, the carpet was all patched with bandaid that doesnt look great. Bathroom was dirty as well with no soap given at all and a dirty bath tub that we had to clean ourselves to use. On a final note, to get to your lodge, you will have to walk past grafiti rubbish bins and broken washing machines can make you not feel as safe as you return to your lodge later in the evening. Not very great but it has potential. Would recommend finding another lodge in the meantime.

This has to be the worst motel in all of Wellington, if not the entire lower north Island. The fridge doesn’t work and smells like bad milk, television doesn’t work, no password for the supposed wifi. Dirty bathroom floors, stained duvet, mouldy showers. My daughter called it the ‘murder motel’. Nobody should stay in a room this revolting, not even fit for social housing. Disgraceful. Burning this motel to the ground would be a waste of a perfectly good match.

Don’t stay here! I should have read the reviews first! The reception is so bad the tv channels don’t even work properly let alone the Netflix or YouTube. Wifi router must be at the front front of the property as can only get one bar and it’s soooo slow. Booked a spa room - no spa. ‘Garden’ for smoking is just overgrown grass and weeds. Room could do with some love and a bloody good dust. Put it this way - the pictures online are NOT what it looks like. Kitchen and location are the only things it has going for it

Do not stay there please. I made a huge mistake for not reading the reviews first. A lesson that I never forget. The place looks run down and unclean when I arrived. The office was unattended. The room was smelly, dusty, cold. Heater was broken. It was a disgusting experience. We did not stay there. We left. PLEASE do not make the same mistake That I have made. Read the review first, ALWAYS!!

1st nobody in the reception to attend guests. 2nd rooms are big but the smell is terrible. Cleanliness is not maintained. 3rd toilet commode was not fixed properly it was shaking when u sit on it. Bad experience ever. I will not recommend anybody for this room.Rooms: 2/5

Beware! don't ever stay here. Wouldn't check me in because i had no drivers licence on me. Then they wouldn't refund my money, as I pre-booked. Its not worth saving $30 to stay at a better place.
