GAS Pokeno

I have been visiting GAS Pokeno for 76 years and have always received the utmost perfect service. The thing that makes my visits to this splendid gas station even more enjoyable is the man who works there every Monday morning. His gorgeousness is absolutely captivating and I believe he deserves a raise just because of how attractive he is. What a cool guy.

I gave it 4 stars before, now down graded to two stars. Since Jan 2023, petrol is more expensive than Auckland. There is a minimum $40 to spend for that joke 6 cent discount. This is not explained properly. Will not pump there again, unless I have to...

Very grateful for the service received. Got a flatty near Maramarua, changed temp tyre and went here late arvo Thursday during school holiday . They did the change over asap, I had to buy a new tyre and the price was pretty good. So I thank this outlet and the young owner. My journey wasn't interrupted for long. Highly recommended

Quaint little gassie with pleasant and helpful staff. Also has postal services during open hours. As this place closes at 6pm, it would be a great improvement and handy facility for locals and travelers passing through, if the pumps could be able to read swipe card or chip.

Have been buying gas at Gas Pokeno for over 25 years now. Wonderful staff, wonderful service, wonderful small country independent gas station. I am happy to continue supporting a country business like Gas Pokeno for as long as it exists. It reminds me of traditional New Zealand gas stations the likes of which are disappearing all over the country. I wish them continued success.
