My entire family has been registered with Crawford Medical for two and a half years since we moved to New Zealand from overseas.nnInitially, my 15-year-old son was afraid of doctors and nurses; however, he now feels very comfortable. This is thanks to the friendly staff at Crawford. The best part is that the doctors explained everything to him scientifically, which he loved, as he could relate to his science classes in school.nnThe doctors and nurses are knowledgeable and experienced, which gives us confidence in their care.nnWe are delighted to be part of Crawford Medical.

With all due respect, I’ve noticed a decline in service at Crawford Medical – Howick, particularly at reception and in nursing assistance. There seems to be a growing challenge in communication and responsiveness, which is both frustrating and concerning. Clear and effective communication is fundamental in healthcare, and I truly hope this improves.nnThe standard of healthcare in NZ is already facing significant challenges, and I would love to see Crawford Medical regain its reputation for care and competence. After all, a strong practice relies on the trust and satisfaction of its patients. Wishing you all the best in addressing these concerns.

I paid $120 to be put onto antibiotics for a viral infection. My acute chest condition was ignored and I ended up having to go to urgent care a few days later for another $250 out of desperation. Please listen to your patients and take the time to diagnose them properly.

I was hoping for a different experience at Medical Crawford, but unfortunately, my appointment with Dr. Elyse was disappointing. Despite her stated commitment to 'compassionate, patient-centred care' and her 'special interest in women’s health,' I experienced neither. She showed little understanding of my complex condition and dismissed my request for a referral to an endocrinologist, despite PCOS being an endocrine disorder. Instead of feeling heard and supported, I left my appointment feeling dismissed and in tears. It’s disheartening how often women’s health concerns are not taken seriously. I won’t be returning to this clinic and wouldn’t recommend it to others seeking thorough and compassionate care for their womens health conditions.

Took my mum there as a casual patient and had a great experience. All staff we dealt with was fab. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, nurses were kind and did a great job with my mum's injury and the GP took time to examine the issue and was very personable and professional. Thanks again.
