Local Doctors - Dawson Road

The doctors have no organisation and the receptionists need to have a better attitude dealing with people. I go and ask them to check if I’m registered because it’s been awhile and she gives me a stink face… be kind or find another job you don’t have to try at.nnAlso barely enough doctors for the amount of people who need help. Receptionists are clear when doctors are out or how long certain wait times are…

Prepare to pay BEFORE seeing the doctor. This also means you can’t leave when you see how long the cue is. We went on a Saturday morning, reception wasn’t warm or friendly but they were organised, nurse was lovely, doctor we saw one of 3 on was pretty useless. When we tried to talk about something that might be contributing to the medical problem, she shut down talk and told us this was an emergency clinic and we would need to come in the week time for a consult. We’d already paid $35 for this consult. Doctor was less than impressive and we’ll now have to go back to our normal branch, pay again and see a doctor more interested in providing more than ‘ambulance at bottom of cliff’ care.

I am extremely disappointed with the service at the Dawson Road medical centre.nnRegardless of how early you arrive, expect to wait for a minimum of three hours. I arrived at 7:30 AM, a full 30 minutes before they opened, just for a simple medical examination required for a driver’s license. After waiting for nearly four hours, I was finally seen by a doctor who was both condescending and inconsiderate. Instead of understanding my frustration, they informed me that I would have to come back another day and wait another four hours, and suggested I arrive even earlier next time to avoid another lengthy wait.nnThis experience was incredibly frustrating, and it feels like you have to camp out the night before, like it’s Black Friday, just to be seen at this place. I strongly advise looking elsewhere for medical services unless you have an entire day to waste.

If I could give a zero star I would definitely the worse clinic. Receptionist gives out misleading information and the wait time is around the whole day, after going there in the morning to book time, rock up at the booking time for us to wait for another 3hrs. What a waste of time!!!

such a poor service i went due to severe headache my bad luck dr oruba khalil seen me.she recommended some blood test.she need to mention the reason why she want this blood test, but she didn’t mention any single thing.when i been for my lab test ,the lab lady said i have to pay charges because your doctor not mentioned any reason.ni have to pay am not worried about this , just want to say such a poor knowledge of medical team.worst worst ever experience.
