Canterbury SCL - Barrington

Although some of the staff seemed friendlier than during my last visit, the overall experience was still frustrating. The workrate remained slow and inefficient, leading to unnecessarily long wait times.

I don’t know how this place is still floating in business. I went to get blood test last week and waited for an hour only to be told that it will be another hour as they are prioritising the online bookings which is fair enough.nSo I left the place and made bookings for next week and on the day they were going through the walk-in people over bookings.nThe staff is so manipulative to look like they not there to serve the people or like doing any charity work. I guess charity dose have more moral then this place.

Came in for my daughters blood test this afternoon, she is terrified of needles, we got Debs, hands down the best phlebotomist ive ever met! Her beautiful nature, kindness and sense of humor made the whole process easy! Weve never had this before! I will be booking in with her next!! This lady needs a pay rise! Awanui Labs Barrington is a convenient blood test centre for the Spreydon/Somerfield area. While the location is small, it serves a large number of people. The staff are friendly and helpful. However, long wait times are a significant drawback. Despite this, it's a valuable resource for the community.

Arrived early in morning without appointment. Scanned and got a number and I was immediately invited into a room by a polite Asian gentleman sorry didn't get your name who took my blood. Didn't feel a thing and I was on my way very quickly. Amazing service and talented staff member.
