Barrington Medical Centre

Been coming to barrington medical on and off since I was a kid and this medical practice is the best one I've been too. Many people with negative reviews need to realize that the health system is broken not this specific practice. Blame national, not these above solid doctors and staff.

I’m beyond frustrated with the GP system in New Zealand. It’s nearly impossible to get an appointment when you actually need one, and when you do, the care feels rushed, unhelpful and useless. The lack of availability, high costs, and dismissive attitudes from some doctors make it clear that the system is broken. People shouldn’t have to fight this hard just to get basic healthcare.

I saw a male doctor here and he was not good at all.Changed to a female doctor there at my request and quite possibly she is one of the best doctors I have ever seen.nReally hit and miss at this clinic.

Dr Kiddle I was 5 minutes late for a skin check after travelling from Northwood and this lovely doctor cancelled the appointment on me what a gracious way to treat a human being especially upon reading the “mission statement “ from this practice

The doctors are being let down by the receptionists’ attitudes.nnThe receptionists have no empathy, were condescending, and were LAUGHING at me to my face. I felt so disgusted and disrespected.nnI spoke with a lady with brown hair with a bob and a blond lady. They had given some misinformation about prescriptions and the pharmacist I spoke to indicated that the receptionists have done this multiple times.nnI won’t leave a 1 star review as most of the doctors have been great. They are being let down by the face of your practice - the receptionists.nnDo better.
