So just went there this morning and asked for a 3 shot coffee and asked her how many shots she’s put; tells me there’s 2 then she’s saying 3 after I’ve told her that I asked for 3 but I didn’t think it was worth arguing over. Please be careful as to what you’ve ordered and what they’re actually putting in there

Unfortunately, my recent visit was disappointing. The older woman working behind the coffee machine was quite unprofessional, I overheard her making a negative comment about me to another staff member simply because I took a moment to collect my coffee. When I arrived, she was already loudly expressing frustration about an internal issue, which set a tense tone.nnThe coffee itself wasn’t great either, my soy milk was overheated, which experienced baristas typically know to avoid for both taste and texture. Overall, not a pleasant experience.

An old Pākehā lady at the café counter took one look at me — just because I’m Asian — and shoved an Uber Eats order in my hand, asking if I was the driver. She didn’t bother with “How can I help you?” or even treating me like a customer. Straightaway she reduced me to an Uber driver stereotype. That’s not a mistake, that’s racism. Judging me purely on my face and skin. Ignorant, offensive, and disgusting.

10pm on 16/09/2025. Lady at the counter was rude, started my pump and then ended it after 30 seconds made me do 2 transactions and was rude about it even though it was all her fault. I will never go back again.

A white female café staff member was racist. She was very friendly to people of her own skin color but cold to me. When I politely asked her a question, she pretended not to hear and had a very bad attitude. So I ordered from another staff member, and they were all very friendly.
