Awanui Labs - Howick (formerly Labtests)

Excellent service at Avanui Labs Howick. The staff were professional, polite, and very caring, especially during my wife’s pregnancy blood tests. Everything was well organised and we felt respected and comfortable. Worth travelling the extra distance for this level of service. Highly recommended.

I visited Awanui Labs today for a blood test. I’ve always found the service there to be great, with polite and professional staff, and I have no complaints about the actual testing process.nnHowever, I did experience an uncomfortable interaction today. My daughter needed two blood tests, and I was informed that one of them was not funded. I politely asked how much the cost would be, and the staff member said he didn’t know yet. I understood that to mean I would be informed of the amount later, so I asked whether the invoice would be sent to my doctor and then passed on to me.nnAt this point, the staff member seemed to take offence and responded quite rudely, saying he does not get one cent of my payment. I believe there may have been a misunderstanding, as I was simply trying to understand the payment process, not question him personally.nnAside from this interaction, the service itself was fine, but I hope staff can be a bit more patient and understanding,maybe?

Short wait time despite it being very busy at the time I went and very easy to sign in with the card system. I would like to say a great thanks to the nurses that took care of me when I passed out after the blood test, they were very caring and kind and looked after me until I felt better. Thank you so much

Always get the very best service and help here in Howick. Easy as system, when you walk in just grab a card on the counter scan it and before you know it your number is called out and in you go. Thank you for efforts

Went to Awanui labs Howick today a little concerned after reading some reviews,what a pleasant surprise. Busy but efficient clean and tidy, and most of all my attendant Neelam was painless. They deserve a 6 rather than 5.
