On Friday 31 October 2025 I had my blood withdrawn by Neelam. She was fantastic!nWithout hesitation she found where to withdraw blood from my arm without the usual fuss I experinced with other nurses . Many thanks Neelam for yournprofessionalism!

I've never had such a positive blood test experience in New Zealand before. Georgina was incredibly friendly, kind, and highly professional. She handled the large needle efficiently and with such skill that I barely felt any pain. She even engaged me in light conversation during the procedure, which helped distract me and ease my anxiety.nnUnlike some places where they struggle to find a vein—blaming it on the vein being too small or moving around, when it’s really a lack of skill—Georgina was confident and precise from the start. She also took the time to clearly explain everything when I asked questions about how long the test results would take.nnShe was truly outstanding.

i went there today, i saw the lady with contacts. i didn't trust her at all because i had a bad experience at a few different locations previously and i told her about it. i didn't specifically ask for the butterfly needle but it was almost completely painless during and after

I had the worst experience a few months ago. I can still remember the ugly pain when the technician took my blood. I am 68 years of age and have had visits over the years for blood tests. None like this one though. I told the technician how painful it was and she said nothing.nMore recently I went to Ascot Hospital and had to visit the Labtest there. My treatment was kinder, more gentle and without excruciating pain. I was chatting to a friend today about my horrific experience and he said he had also been mishandled and that this roughness resulted in a large haematoma, and he showed me a photo. I will be going elsewhere until such time as care management at Howick Labtest can be shown.

Absolutely love neelam ! She’s always so gentle and has never left me with bruises unfortunately if I see someone else here they are very rough or always leave me with a bruise : so can’t seem to trust anybody else
