Beautiful, lush, rich coffee and awesome staff!! These guys really do understand and care about coffee. Huge selection of beans, roasted on site, super cute spot to stop in and really lovely people serving. They stock a massive range of beans and equipment in a laid back environment.
The coffee here is very weak. The premium blend coffees we ordered, which is meant to be full body were very weak and milky. The coffee that we could taste was pleasant. But prefer a full bodied taste and much stronger coffee.nThe small pack of beans we bought for over $20 was the same. We had to make coffee with half normal milk to get a proper coffee out if it. That tastes good but nothing amazing. That's using espresso machine. We usually use matakana coffee beans which are twice as strong for 1/3 the price.nNice place to sit though and pleasant enough if you like a milky coffee.nAlso nice idea to get different coffee and roast in house. Don't know what they are doing to get such a weak result.nOverall I think this place is over rated and over priced. Wouldnt go back.nRoma coffee is better just up the road and round the corner...
You can smell the fresh roasted coffee in the air as you walk towards the entrance. The coffee is strong and full flavored. Small shop, so not much seating inside, but they have some seating on the grass. Great for takeaways, as you can find parking easily on the side of the road. They also sell coffee beans on site.
It is a very small and cute place, and it is a tiny bach house with a story about coffee. The smell of coffee and the smile of the staff welcomed us. Green tea iced latte is fresh and so good. If the roastry were next to my neighborhood, I would have visited more often, but I'm going to stop by every time the Pakuranga passes by.
Ordered a matcha and loved it.nnStaff are friendly and they serve their coffeee n tea pretty quickly.nnThey roast their own beans too, so it usually smells amazing indoors.nnSome outdoor seating for those who don’t mind sitting on milk carton boxes.nnWould love to be back soon
