Really friendly staff. Can't remember the bloke who served me but he was a legend! Thanks for the quick look over my bike and showing me how to lube up and maintain my chain. Definitely a great experience!
Not enough staff to help, and the shop is dark, and set up with minimal signage and labelling so you literally have no way of knowing what you are looking at unless you grab the bike out the rack. The racks are set up with 2 levels like bunk beds with teeny tiny tags and you can't read the tags unless it's down on the ground. We waited half an hour for service, ended up using the website, found a bike that was on the website and the tag said it was $100 more... Then we cracked it at that point from the lack of service, drove a couple of kilometres up the street to Ivanhoe Bikes, walked in and was pleasantly surprised. Bright cheery store, all bikes at eye level, grouped into bike type, signage to tell you what you were looking at and pricing... And a friendly staff member there to talk with. So we spent $1000 there instead. So much better experience than 99 Bikes.
I went into 99 bikes today to get one thing a mountain bike for a basic beginner and dinesh helped me out. He showed me a bike, a Ranger pedal mountain bike, told me about it and I was sold. Transaction was quick easy and no fuss and he also helped load my bike into my small hatchback and it fit perfectly thanks again dinesh

Airplanes don’t fall out of the sky because of regular maintenance. I am my own bicycle mechanic. My right side brake and shifter combo broke. I was sold both left and right side brake/shifter combos. The sales staff were polite and professional towards me. In terms of product quality and pricing, it was a very good deal. Well done 99.
