The best quality and tons of knowledge the staff here have. Also they are great to talk to. I love coming in here when ever I need specific items. Also Pasquale who I have known for ages has been working there for about over 20 years. I know I will get the specific item I need while he is on shift. Bunnings has so much which doesn’t pass the quality test, but Bowen’s makes sure that they get quality equipment to sell. Keep up the great job
The staff and sales guys are very loyal. I've worked with Greg Brown and couldn't be more happier with his service! Always extremely friendly and glad to spend time with you to help you fulfill your needs and wants.
This is one of the bigger store. Can find most of the hardwares here except landscaping items. Staff are helpful.
You want timber? This is the place to go. Attentive staff all willing to assist.
Walked in here looking for a drill bit and a couple of other small things. The second I walked in, one of their employees "Gary" walked up to me and started helping me. He explained a lot of things I did not understand and did not get mad when I made him repeat himself a million times. He made sure I got all the right things I needed and made my day a little bit better with his contagious energy. I think a lot of us commoners struggle with handyman kind of things and it is quite hard to shop for things you don't understand. If every hardware store had a Gary, it would be very easy to build your own things at home. Great culture and customer service at the place, would highly recommend!
We walked into Bowens with the wrong order from other store. The staffs in north melb were so helpful especially Robby made sure we got everything right. I was a bit paranoid with the previous wrong order and walked him to the yard to make sure our order is right, however he did not get mad. Robby was so patient with me and explained things professionally. Very friendly staffs and great culture. I would highly recommend Robby and north melb Bowens.
Was served by a employee named rob. He was a legend and helped me with all that I needed, was blown away on how fast he sorted everything out for me. Good to know that there is still people that take pride in their work. Good stuff mate very proud.

I normally dont write reviews. But given my experience with the Bowens team in North Melbourne I thought their excellent customer services and their willingness to help customers shouldn't go unnoticed. From the managers to all the staff in the store are probably the most friendliest and helpful team I have come across. They make you feel welcome, they are always smiling and straight out down to earth people. I think the secret might be they actually enjoy their job and helping people. Well done guys and THANK YOU.
Easy store To drive in, then straight out, with your purchase. Plenty of guys in hi-vis to help, and load. Very easy purchase, definitely use again, right next to a Woolworths and our local dog park
