Spent 11 minutes queueing up for a single cashier assisted checkout. When I spoke to store manager Lee, his response was that staffing is difficult. His demeanour made it clear that I don't need to shop at Woolworths. Message received.

Went to pick up a single-bag delivery order. After waiting around 10 minutes with no communication, the customer service staff member finally arrived and immediately spoke to me in a rude, condescending tone, implying that I was at fault for not knowing about their policy requiring drivers to wait outside.nnI had no issue following the policy - I simply wasn’t aware. A basic, respectful explanation would’ve resolved everything instantly. Instead, her tone escalated the situation unnecessarily. When I pushed back, she immediately called a manager rather than acknowledging how poorly she spoke to me.nnThe manager focused on procedure rather than the staff member’s behaviour, and I left without the order I had been waiting for.nnI acknowledge I became frustrated, but the situation could have been completely avoided if the staff had communicated respectfully from the start. Customer service roles require patience and professionalism, and this experience fell well below that standard.

Delivery drivers are treated like second class citizens. No, you will wait outside and you are forbidden from sitting down on the seat next to the service desk. We don't care about any underlying disability or health implications. Experienced no compassion from young female staff + the store manager. Go to Coles, it's cheaper.

I’m an Uber driver and I have delivered and picked up from every Woolworths on the Gold Coast and I would have to say this. Woolworths is the best out of all of them. There is a particular lady leah who is just fabulous and the lady that’s on the counter when you first walk in I’ve never had an issue here not one I’ve had a few issues with Woolworths runaway Bay but hey…. They are so fast and efficient and they’re really lovely gorgeous customer service. They just a really nice Woolworths
