I went into this Woolworths on a Sunday the 14th. I Ask this asain man if they had a 24 pack of coke no sugar. He told me if they weren’t on the shelf, then we would have none in the back as I asked him if he could check the back, he simply told me in an arrogant way to not believe the online stock as it is fake. So I said to him If I would’ve placed an order online and it came to my house, would it be fake coca cola since it says it’s in stock? He tried to explain it to me, but I told him not to bother as it seemed like he didn’t want to waste his time with me as a customer asking him if he could check something in the back. I have worked in retail stores in major companies  before As a stock filler, so I know how annoying it is for a customer to ask if you could check the back. I asked this other man Who was wearing an all black outfit and hat stocking the shelf If he could check the stock in the back. He told me to give him a second and he will go have a look and what do you know a minute later he comes with a box of Coke no sugar. I told him it was much appreciated as I asked another worker if they had any and he didn’t even want to look and I thanked him for giving me the time And going out of his way to help a customer. He humbly smiled and went back to work. I think it takes big consideration of the people you employ As some are simply just lazy and aren’t genuinely Doing their job, I understand They were tasked To do a different assignment But as an employee for a place your customer service skills should be much better. Thank you to the man who was able to find the stock that was supposedly Not available And I hope he’s given his kudos.

Tried Potato Utopia at Woolworths and it was such a nice surprise. Fresh, tasty, and really satisfying comfort food with plenty of flavour. Today at around 18:20 when my boyfriend and I were checking out, I placed a drink down and he forgot to scan it, so we needed assistance from a staff member. However, the older lady working there did not offer any help or even speak to us. She just held up her card and gestured that we were blocking her way because she couldn’t reach the scanner. After everything was done and we were about to leave, we thanked her, but she completely ignored us with no expression on her face. It was quite disappointing and made the experience feel very unfriendly.

Tell me why ever bit of steak I’ve bought from them falls apart when cooked. The packaging says “NEW AND IMPROVED” yet this keeps happening. Meat glue should not be used to create a steak out of scrap meat…..

This is a nice Woolworths supermarket and the closest to our home. Easy to walk to and has a good range of the prodded like to buy. Staff are friendly, turnover is high, so foods are fresh and the store is nicely set out and easy to navigate.
