Don’t be fooled by purchasing the prepaid service. Had 3 services done now and every time they call back and say they recommend you do this so it’s outside the normal scope of the service agreement and costs additional money. If it’s recommended it should be in the service. On 3 occasions they ask me when I would like the vehicle returned and on 2 of three it was not delivered on time and today Inrequested my vehicle by 2pm it’s now 4pm and no contact from Wild West Hyundai. Very poor performance and I hope Management read this feedback.
The servicing department is on a steep downward spiral. They are hard to get through to, respond poorly and at the last service broke the car key at when rated poorly as a result asked to see the key and then said it was wear and tear. Yes they certainly don't have much care but apply some pretty heavy wear. Hard to leave them as we prefer to use a dealer but won't be using this one again. Poor management and poor customer service are clearly leading to poor service delivery. The manager seem a 30 year old lass but she doesn't seem very competent. The service at Hyundai is in stark contrast to the service we receive at Wanneroo Mazda which is excellent, respectful, accommodating and good value. Happy with the Hyundai vehicle almost as much as with the Mazda but Mazda have the better overall package especially in Wanneroo.
We had my wife's Tuscon taken in to Wild West Hyundai for a warranty job on the steering lock. This was the first week of the New Year and like most businesses, if open only had minimal staff. The vehicle was towed in on Wednesday morning. I had a call Thursday morning saying fault had been diagnosed, part ordered ex Korea and a loan vehicle arranged for pick-up Friday morning. Picked up our loan car Friday morning as promised near new Santa Fe Highlander. Expecting a couple of weeks waiting for our vehicle to be returned only to get a call Tuesday morning saying our Tucson was ready for pick-up. The best experience with a dealership service department I have ever had. Service and particularly communication was excellent. Special thanks to Steve and Wendy.
If I could give more stars I would. I was in a pickle, my car which I was hoping would last just a little longer just died on me. Not worth the expense to fix, I knew it was time to bite the bullet and buy a new one, in what I knew was not a buyers market. Luke warm experience in dealers close to me selling demos for more than new and refusing to drop price. Then I saw a demo with 10km at Wild West for $500 less than a new model Kona. I rang and said I’m buying that car. Greig answered my call and said he would get back to me, which he promptly did. He told me that the car had actually done over a 1000km, and would I be happy if they gave me a new one for the same price when they came in. I said that sounded great but unfortunately I needed a car asap. He then offered to lend me a car till a new one arrived free of charge. I could not believe it when I went in to sign the deal and they gave me a brand new Venue to drive for the 2 weeks it took for my new one to arrive. Not only that they sent a truck to pick up my old car, they accepted as a trade in, which was not safe to drive, and in Willetton, and transported to their dealership at no charge, and gave me $1000 for it, when no one else wanted to by it. I kept waiting for a catch, but there never was one. I told Greig how happy I was with the whole experience and how grateful I was that he made it so easy. Greigs response was that he was glad to hear it, and that it was his job to make it as easy as possible for the client. Oh and he also had my car on the show room floor all wrapped with a red bow. Well Greig you are very good at your job, and if ever in the market again the only person I would buy from.
I called in yesterday for a replacement rear door lock for my i30. When the tall, slim, dark haired chap in the office saw me he literally hurried to the counter. He knew exactly what was required and had a replacement in stock. He was courteous, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Brilliant.
They didn't know the answer to my question but they offered to book me in for the car to be hooked up to the diagnostic machine at a cost of $160 whether they solve the problem or not. Not a lot of confidence that they know about their products.
This is the first dealership I walked into which had a great positive energy and friendly nature, with reps who appeared genuine to help me out. Nothing puts me off more than the hard sell or non-empathic approach – it’s extremely important to understand and work with the customer’s needs, and be able to engage with the customer on their level. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and factual with all my questions, immediately building rapport and gaining trust – which is something that cannot be taught but is so highly important when dealing with customers. I knew instantly I could trust their advice and what they were doing for me - which is extremely rare to experience in a sales world. They immediately turned all my less than average dealership experiences around.
Tony was our sales man. He was very polite and courteous. We had a very swift response and sale. We had no issues with the sale and aftercare for years. I don't think I would buy a Hyundai Accent again though. I could not accelerate! It took over 2 minutes to get into third gear. After having a ford fiesta previously, I just couldn't get used to the gear box and bought a focus.
DON`T DELETED MY REVIEW! We bought BRAND NEW PALLSAIDE Highlander $75,000 at Wild west Hyundai in WA and have dashboard issue HEAD UP DISPLAY FUCTION ALSO DOESN'T WORK have to replace and have handle issue PHONE FUCTION DOESN'T WORK have to replaced. Went service centre 3 times in 9 months and NEVER been fixed and THEY JUST SAID ITS HYUNDAI PROBLEM even they put wrong address so my rego has been expired I had to pay for reispection fees and penalties and one of manager CRIAG denied their fault. Poor customer service and regarding dashboard issue one of sales manager recommened to me to contact Hyundai directly ? Very disappointed with quality of customer service & PALLISADE. JUST DON'T BUY. 7 years warranty?? Good luck with that. Not even 7 months. QUALITY OF THIS CAR? NOT WORTH TO PAY BIG DOLLARS FOR THIS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER. NOT EVEN ONE STAR. DON'T Recommend.
Took our I30 Diesel car in to Wild West as they quoted $250 for an "interim service". We do very few kms so it is only to change fluids as they age. Surprisingly the diesel service is twice the price of a petrol car considering there are no spark plugs to change and they would not touch the injector system. It was a normal service although I did remove excess oil from the overfull crankcase with my oil pump later. They ALL overfill. They did not fill in the service book correctly as it was a "non logbook service" There was the usual attempt to upsell and I fell for a "Safe T stop" inspection on brakes and wheel alignment no data provided to us Battery was declared to be suspect but again no data provided.
