The state of this cinema shows years of neglect and lack of any standard of customer experience.nnFirst you pay extra for the reclining chairs but anyone sits anywhere. You select a number yet most of them are broken.nnThe cleanliness of the cinema is deplorable. You alert the team and their response was we had a function in here earlier. The manager was called in and repeatedly said gees the team isn’t doing their job today.nnThe owners need to invest in fixing this place. The reviews don’t lie. We asked for a refund as the experience was just so disappointing but they refused as they couldn’t.
Thankfully our visit wasn't as disastrous as some other people's. It's definitely a bit run down, but I actually love the vibe of the place, it just needs a deep clean and a bit of love, care and updating.nThe place was pretty empty and the popcorn wasn't fresh but we did go in the middle of the day on a Wednesday.nThe women's toilets were fine. The cinema seats, while obviously older, weren't super dirty or anything. I felt okay sitting in them. They were maybe a little bit cramped for anyone on the bigger side.nThe concession staff was friendly, and $13 for a drink, popcorn and a choc top felt reasonable compared to other cinemas.nWe enjoyed the photos and displays, Mum took a photo with knockoff-Bumblebee and Dad with the car.nIt all felt like a blast from the past, classic Hollywood style. I think if it was all fixed up it would be a pretty iconic spot.
The attendant gave me the wrong directions to the movie, so I ended up going to three different theaters. I was shocked by the filthy conditions - the first theater had a off musky smell, all the thearters had multiple broken seats, majority of the armrests were missing or broken, trash was everywhere, stains all over seats, even the recliner seats didn't work.nnIt felt like a cinema in a third world country. The whole experience was gross. Who is managing the place? They should be fired immediately, the cinema has so much potential but its clearly been severely neglected for a long time.
I just wanted to share some feedback from my recent visit to United Cinemas with my younger brother. We came in from the eastern suburbs, and while the place is a bit run-down, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean everything was. The cinema itself was tidy, and even the restrooms were clean and had a nice smell.nOverall, it was a pretty good experience, and I'll definitely be back!
I watched a movie today at United Cinema, and unfortunately, I had a very bad experience. The air conditioning was not working, which made it very uncomfortable inside the theatre. The seats were also not comfortable at all.nOverall, I was disappointed with the facilities. I hope the management improves the maintenance and seating comfort for a better experience in the future.
