Bed Bath n’ Table Hawthorn is one of the franchises larger outlet stores that is situated a 10 minute walk from Glenferrie station. If you’re looking to redecorate your home, buy a few pieces or perhaps search for a gift, this store can be very handy. They have a number of quality kitchen brands if you are wanting to buy some new containers or utensils, however I’ve found their bathroom accessories including towels, living room items pillows, throws and bedroom linen duvet covers to be quite low in quality. Everything looks nice but the low quality doesn’t interest me as a buyer due to issues surrounding their sustainability. The staff are usually quite friendly and helpful albeit I’ve experienced a number of rude instances as well.
Huge range of products. Everything you need in your home in one place. Bathroom, kitchen, living room and decorations galore. Purchased some kitchenware on sale thanks to the lovely support of staff. Very clean and good prices. The biggest bed bath n table store I have ever seen
Wanted to update our bedding and didn’t have much spare time. I knew this place was big and thought I could find something there without having to go from store to store. I succeeded with a little help from Sally, a very friendly and knowledgeable associate. Their clearance prices are very good, but unfortunately the coverlet and sham covers I wanted were full price. Luckily, all ful price merchandise was 25% off which helped bring the cost down. I did find coordinating bamboo/cotton blend sheets on clearance that are soft and supple. I love how the new bedding changed the mood of the room from bland to comfy and cozy.
It's spacious and has a fantastic variety of products. I'm glad to have such a store within walking distance from home. The cafe is great with good quality of coffee, food and desert. Staffs are always friendly and attentive. It seems nowadays all the hospitality businesses increase the prices, charge extra for the EFPOS, extra 10-15% surcharge for the weekend/ public holiday; this cafe doesn’t do that. Instead, discounted price for the weekend if buy coffee and toast or cake. We really appreciate that and hence always preference for coffee or brunch.
Went to the store Christmas Eve. Encountered very rude staff, who gave attitude and were not helpful when I needed assistance. Closing hours on Google was 1730. When we arrived at 1700, we could hear staff complaining about customers walking through the door. There were several customers still shopping, and I could overhear staff being openly rude to them. I approached one employee who was behind a counter, who cut me off mid sentence several times when I was needing assistance about a particular product I was hoping to purchase for Christmas Day. She told me I had interrupted her counting money, and would not point me in the right direction for assistance and spoke to me with such disrespect. Disgusted, I walked away from her. Meanwhile, whilst I was finalising my purchase, another staff approached me explain that the doors shut at 1700 and to finalise my purchase. I apologised and said on Google the hours stated 1730 and the doors were still open. To which she replied, "I know but it's wrong". How was I to know? At the counter, I explained to another employee how rude the woman had been to my partner and I when I approached her. She apologised, but could not care less, explaining that it's Christmas Eve, and that everybody wanted to go home. This was unacceptable. I will not come back here. The staff are terrible and unhelpful, and clearly don't understand basic customer service.
I just love getting the big discounts at this store. That way I can purchase items that could sometimes be out of my reach.
I popped in to the works to pick up some bed spreads and just couldn't rave about the service enough! Annalise went so far beyond my expectations when she called around the other stores to find what I was after. I've always loved this store but the service it truly outstanding. Thank you!
Negligent customer service was what i experienced at Chadstone Shopping Center Bed Bath N' Table. I was ignored by the staff in store for the entire time i was in there. Not a hello or an offer of assistance by any of the staff who were huddled behind the check out area or any of the other staff in the store. Only few other customer in the store and staff outnumbered customers. I later contacted their customer service advising of the deplorable service at Chadstone store and the return message advised that i would be contacted but ... nothing. I then left another comment on the website asking for a reply weeks later but again ... nothing. I then called their customer service number and was only promoted to leave a message as they were busy, I did this twice but you geussed it , no reply. What is going o Bed Bath N' Table, Is your service as at your customer feedback department as deplorable as it is in store? YOU BET!
Called in to this homewares store for lunch. The cafe is located up a set of stairs and I didn't see a lift so it's not accessible. However the service was friendly and efficient. My ham and cheese toastie w dried oregano on sourdough was pretty average to be honest. But it was very reasonably priced at about $6.50 so that was good. My 2 friends were raving about this place and the toasties when I was there so it's all about personal taste I guess. Still worth a visit when your shopping.
We do love this place, we come here a lot. I buy all the household gear, decorative items & their Xmas dec's are to die for.
