Had a really enjoyable visit to IKEA Richmond. The store offers an impressive range of products — everything from furniture to smaller home décor pieces — and there’s plenty of inspiration throughout the showroom setups. It’s easy to picture how things would look in your own space.nnThe layout is well thought out, making it enjoyable to walk through rather than overwhelming. Each section is styled nicely, and there are lots of clever ideas for storage and design that you can take home with you. Pricing is very reasonable, and overall it feels like great value for money.nnService was good as well — staff were approachable and helpful when needed, and the checkout process was efficient.nnThe restaurant is a great addition and makes the whole experience even better. It’s the perfect spot to recharge before continuing your shop, and adds to that “day out” feeling.nnOverall, it’s a place you can easily spend a few hours in without realising. Whether you’re shopping with a specific goal or just browsing for ideas, it’s a fun and worthwhile visit every time.
From CBD, board tram and get off at Burnley St/Victoria St. Cross the street, walk through entry victoria garden shopping center, go left and pass the 'rebel' signage. Cross again until you see the gate, precisely next to chemist warehouse. Then take the stair/escalator to be at IKEA. This is the most convenient path to go to IKEA because the first time i went here, i got off at the next tramstop and seriously confused searching for the entry.
Ah yes, IKEA Richmond — the land where time, money, and sanity go to assemble themselves . You walk in just to “browse a bit,” and next thing you know you’re three meatballs deep, emotionally attached to a lamp named SKURUP, and somehow holding 47 tealights you don’t remember picking up .nnEvery aisle feels like a choose-your-own-adventure — “Will I escape with my relationship intact?” or “Will I move into the mock apartment and start a new life?” The layout is designed like a psychological experiment: once you enter, there’s *no reverse gear*. Only meatballs and regret.nnAnd the checkout line… oh, the line . By the time you reach it, your brain has melted faster than a candle in the lighting section. You’re questioning everything — do I really need this dish rack named GRUNDTAL? Yes. Probably. Because it’s only $12.nnBut then you sit in the cafeteria, holding your 99¢ soft serve and admiring your haul like a battle trophy . You survived the maze. You conquered flatpack destiny. You are now one Allen key away from greatness.nn — would get lost again.
We always love our trips to IKEA! It’s the perfect place to find stylish furniture and just about everything you need for your home all in one spot. The IKEA cafe is a must-visit especially for the hot dogs and the staff are always so friendly and helpful.Highly recommend!!
I ordered the SÖDERSVIK LED wall lamp a little while ago, and have finally had it installed, and it looks amazing in our ensuite. It is the perfect face level light, and is good quality throughout. I highly recommend this light.
