Love it. Shopping experience is quiet and comfy. Lots of inspiration to me. I believe everyone knows about the IKEA products. But I want to say the restaurant experience is unique, low prices to enjoy foods and drinks while spending leisure time sitting in the great dining space with views, where reminds me of the airport departure building.
Always a full-on experience visiting IKEAnBest to go in with a draft list of things to visit/tackle.nThere are always going to be variations to the items immediately found in the catalogues.nBudget an abundance of time. Taking photos and notebooks to jot down inspirations because chances are there will be multiple visits for the weekend-DIY renovators not having all the measurements the first time.nFriendly staffs.nRestaurants closes 30 mins before 8:30pm the store close time 9:00pmnSo much inspirations
The store was nice and clean, neat, as you would expect it to be. The let down was the staff. Needing to purchase goods we were funneled through self check out where scanned and bagged our own stuff, whilst three workers using this term lightly stood just centimeters away from us having a great old chat about their weekend. A very negative experience.
Got what we came for and more of course.nThe rug looks fantastic in our living room, just the brightening up the area needed for winter.nAlso, fell in love with this green bedroom, almost had to stop on the way home for paint!
Cheap, but poor quality products. This is only my second time buying IKEA new and second time the defects stopped me from building them. First time the metal shelf rods were bent so you couldn't screw it together. Second time they put the holes on the wrong side so couldn't join two pieces of wood and also the holes are not aligned so some won't go in and the frame is slightly bent. Shocking that such a major brand could have such poor quality, makes me wonder where these are made...
