Actually NO stars for this store. This morning we were looking at bath towels that were on sale on a table in the doorway. I was intending to buy 4 bath towels and 2 hand towels - a not insignificant purchase. Not wanting to carry a bulky parcel with me around the CBD we decided to have coffee first and then return to buy the towels. Less than 45 minutes later we were back trying to decide on colours when a shop assistant removed the sale price signs off the top of the display while we continued to discuss options. A few minutes later, once I had selected the towels and had them in my hands ready to pay, she returned to advise that "these towels are no longer on sale" and despite having seen us earlier and allowed us to continue in our selection on our return, she refused to honour the sale price. Such poor customer service and for what gain? The loss of a sale and any future patronage of any Bed Bath N'Table store.

Hidden Danger! I recently purchased 3 pairs of standard pillowcases (Cotton House brand) from BBNT @ Nunawading. Have always liked their products and hence always go back for more. But in this instance, I was shocked to find a broken needle in one of the pillowcase. Please note that the pillowcases were washed before use. But the needle must have been lodged between the seams or something as it didnt come out in the wash. Every morning as a routine I fluff my pillows when i get out of bed and found something pricked my finger. On investigating further, I found a needle poking out one of the corners and was shocked with my discovery. Just the previous night I had laid my 3 month old on that pillow. I was overwhelmed with the thought of what could have happened. I did call their office to notify them of my finding. And the Regional Manager did try getting in touch with me to discuss the issue. But to be honest its not something that can be fixed with a discussion. My advise to everyone would be to thoroughly check all bedding before use as it can be quite perilous.
