Opening in early 2018, we're the old friend Perth hasn't seen in a while.
You might have noticed we've been closed whilst restoring one of Perth's icons, but we are getting ready to re-open soon, bringing new life to the corner of Hay and Milligan Streets. Staying true to our heritage, we have retained the original grandeur of The Melbourne Hotels 1897 design, whilst the addition of the new modern architectural build reflects the ever-changing landscape of our city.
Expect a unique hotel experience. We cut through the noise to make things simple, giving our guests a bespoke stay with a personal touch. There are no cookie-cutter approaches here. We offer a mix of 73 heritage and contemporary guest rooms, each aesthetically furnished to complement their own characteristics. Yes; every stay will be different, as every room has its own story; that's what makes us one-of-a-kind.
Architects of The Melbourne Hotel have skillfully encompassed old with new, allowing the heritage aspect of the building to be celebrated from multiple viewpoints, whilst showcasing modern-day design. Guests of The Melbourne Hotel can expect to experience an abundance of natural light through the rooftop conservatory, internal room courtyard and wide corridors which provide expansive views across the city.
But we are not just a hotel; guests, visitors and locals alike are invited to take a journey through The Melbourne Hotels extensive food and beverage experiences.
