Great but overpowering scent in lobby - Adopt a Scent free policy.nWe had a wonderful 4-night stay at this Four Points hotel in Perth. Great location. Easy walking distance to Train Station, Elizabeth Quay, Coles / Woolworth, etc. Nice staff.nHowever, every late afternoon Thur Nov 13, Frid Nov 14, Sat Nov 15, around 17:30, when we came back to hotel, there was an overpowering - really really strong smell - of not sure after-shave / cologne / cleaning products... The smell followed us even in the elevator. Please adopt a scent free policy.nAlso, if the rooms were equipped with a microwave, that would be really convinient.
Location: Perth city, There is a 24-hour convenience store next door, walking distance to Elizabeth Harbour didn't go.nnEmployee: Philip I only knew his name after asking the supervisor in the morning. He was very friendly, asked detailed questions about the customer's needs, and introduced the hotel's facilities and location. Feeling cared for, compared to the mechanical check-in at other hotels, this is more human-like, and I give a thumbs up to Philip.nnRoom: The sheets are clean, the pillows have no odor, the towels are clean and dry. If you often travel, you should know how important these three points are.nnI didn’t experience breakfast and the bar because I didn’t have time, so I don’t dare to make a random evaluation.nnThis is also the hotel where the cabin crew of Cathay Pacific and Malaysia Airlines stay, and the environment is very good.
No hairdryer in the room. Housekeeping has to go look for one. Never been to a Marriott branded hotel with no hairdryers and I am an 8th year platinum Bonvoy member. But the staff was nice to try their best. Nice location.
Very cozy hotel. Rooms are big though a bit dated. I thought the power points would provide international power plug options. So bring your own converters. Location wise not very central but free Cat buses stops just beside the hotels from Perth Station from airport - only 2 stops!nnVery friendly staff and just to shout out to a Mr. Son who was very helpful and just super friendly.
Twice we have stayed at this hotel and both times didn’t get any sleep.n1st time the room was at the front of the hotel, road noise made it impossible to sleep.nThis time the room was beside what I assume was the service elevator. Which was used continuously all night. Avoid room 105.nEverything else pretty standard. Clean. Not great for the price. Average.
