Story

Since November 2013, we are happy to welcome you in our bistro/cafe, for enjoying coffee, pastries, brunch, platters and salads for the lunch and traditional french meals and home-made desserts on the evenings. The Bistro/cafe also offers private function possibility.

Hope that our Chefs and all the team will try to delight you with their own savoir-faire and their everyday kindness.

The little French Deli still offers a selection of locally made products with a real French "savoir-faire", in the deli. We carefully source all of our products locally from small producers and cook, bake and smoke with love a whole range of products in our mutual kitchen. We cater for businesses and individuals for everyday french food need.

Wow what a little new french restaurant!nnWas not expecting every dish to be outstanding but here we are - everything was great, well portioned and more importantly, tasted amazing.nnWe started with the Beer tartare and Ceviche scallops.nnMains were the duck confit , pork belly , fish of the day with a side of potatoes and green beans.nnFinally finished with the creme brulee raspberry and fig tarte tin.nnCould not fault a single dish.nnAlso, very reasonable prices.
We attended the Little French Deli after a charity fun run at nearby Carrum location.nIt was a great bayside location and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed.nThe food was amazing and service was magnificent.nIt was great value for money for all the food and coffee we ordered.nDespite a busy Sunday morning, the wait time for a table and food was not long at all.
If you want to try best brunch in France, don’t. Just go to Nepean hwy, Bonbeach and try The Little French Deli. We love the vibe, super chic; very palatable meals we had breakfast/lunch or brunch. We’ll definitely come back for dinner next time!nAlso, great service.
My wife & had been to this cafe a few years back and had wonderful memories of the atmosphere and food. It was not quite what we expected. The place looked stale and tired. More like a bar than a French deli.nOnly three patrons were there drinking wine and appeared startled when we came in.nThe waitress ushered us into the back part of the establishment when we came in.nnThere were booths and tables. We were directed to a booth. It was so small we had to squeeze in uncomfortably.nAs in most cafes we were asked if wanted coffees and I stated we would order first. Menus were provided. The waitress seemed in a hurry considering there were very few diners.nShe left and returned almost immediately asking if we were ready to order. We had no time to peruse the menu.nShe left again.nAfter a review of the menu we felt that it was limited and not sufficiently meeting our food requirements and decided to leave.nWe went to the front of the cafe and the waitress emerged from what I think was the kitchen area; said nothing and smiled.nWe left.nPlease try it and judge for yourself as many reviews are positive.
I came here hoping to get some coffee. It appears I was mistaken, as this is not a coffee shop. There were plenty of seats, but let us sit at the corner. We asked staff to change tables because it was so uncomfortable. I requested a flat white and received what seemed to be warm milk with a shot, even if it was simply warm coffee. This coffee is 8 bucks. Furthermore, the staff did not seem very welcoming.
