We walked in for a weekday dinner, and the restaurant was quite busy. The food portions were large, and the prices were affordable. The mixed entree was very enjoyable. However, the beef salad was too salty. The basil stir fry with chicken was quite different from the one I had in Thailand and other restaurants. It was so different that I even asked the waiter if there was a mistake with the dish; it wasn't to my preference.
Booked this restaurant for dinner before the moonlight cinema due to the convenience in location, but turn out the food is surprisingly nice! Ordered pad see-ew and pad satay, we’d recommend both dishes and will definitely be back and try out more.Food: 5/5
I'm not one to do Google reviews. But on this occasion I see fit, visited Golden Triangle Saturday May 4th with good friends. We have been before and enjoyed the evening with other local friends. As previously the food was nice... BUT on this occasion the service was APPALLING, the 2 girls were more interested in chatting to each other. We sat down on arrival and waited 10 minute before offered a drink, it went down hill from here... Zero table service apart from the food delivered, no engagement from the waiters or offering further food or drink... Sorry won't be back.
The food is very tasty and the staff is friendly. However quite disappointed with the barramundi and chilli sauce dish where the food comes in the fish dish but can't really find the fish meat at all.Food: 3/5
Excellent food, hearty portions, traditional decor and a nice view of the park. The service was brilliant, two very capable women looked after the whole restaurant, from ordering, serving, clearing plates, billing, bar, takeout and welcome. Truly commendable!
Lovely food! I came in a rainy night. Immediately ate my food when they brought out cause I was starving so couldn’t take decent photos of the dishes. But red duck curry is great. Pad satay sauce w stir fry beef is yummy too. Definitely come back.
Cheapfood ingredients were fresh but taste so soboring and too sweet,not an authentic Thai place , specially for Aussie If u r form Asian and like the real Thai dishes, I don’t think u will be satisfied that much. Pad Thai was wet and sweet, very terrible for me Tom Yum was the best among everything I ordered. The Chu Chi curry chicken and Red Curry barramundi were very similar, the curry in both dishes were nearly same flavor, just the red curry was more sweet...
I love Thai food and this Thai restaurant serves a variety of delicious dishes. The curries are yummy and so are the rice and noodle ones. Rich in flavour, spicy, your taste buds will love it. We have been there a couple of times and were never disappointed. Also good and quick service.
The atmosphere is very nice and goes well with the food and whole eating experience. Duck rolls, spring rolls, fried rice were delicious!
One of the best Thai restaurants in Melbourne, it is a little Thailand, friendly staff, amazing food, worth the price , very good service . Will go again for sure. If you ever go there dont miss Massaman curry
