Incredible venue, I highly recommend.nnMorgan from the events team was amazing to deal with and had fantastic communication. She made the day run seamlessly and assisted with our set up and pack up. The staff working with her on the day were also so polite and lovely.nnThe food portions were extremely generous and I have had people contacting me since the event saying how delicious the food and drinks were.nnWe selected a handful of cocktails which were all tasty and delicious.nnWe had a couple of people attending a bit later after the food had been delivered and they were cooked an assortment of fresh items. It was these touches that showed how much care Morgan and her team had for our event.nnI would recommend to anyone thinking about this as a venue to book it, you won’t regret it. It’s very reasonably priced and the portions are so generous and tasty.

Very disappointing experience. Service was actually so shocking it felt like the staff were purposely trying to ignore us?! Even when it cleared out and wasn’t busy they were not attentive we asked for the dessert menu and then they didn’t come back to check if we wanted it or even glanceeee in the direction of our table. Also the toilets are not very good.nnThis place is the illusion of class and richness and it definitely has a distinct vibe which I felt like was very fake and strange.nnThe food and drink were really good though but definitely not a welcoming/enjoyable place idk.nnEdit: they also charged us for a beer we didn’t order on the bill and we only noticed after we paid. They fixed it up though.

I recently went to Gilson  for brunch, and it was amazing! The place is cozy,  The staff were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.nnThe brunch menu had a lot of great options. I went with the avocado toast with  mushrooms, and it was delicious – really fresh and tasty. But the coffee was the real star – rich, flavorful, and just perfect.nn.Highly recommend! Five stars.

We came here for drinks and snacks thisafternoon to celebrate our dogs birthday. The lovely waiter brought out a little treat for him it made our day !!

Absolutely thrilled with the service Lauren provided at Gilson! From the moment we walked in, her warm and attentive approach made us feel welcome and valued. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered fantastic recommendations that made our dining experience exceptional. Lauren’s professionalism and genuine enthusiasm were evident throughout our visit, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor truly enhanced our lunch. Highly recommend asking for Lauren if you’re planning a visit—she made our experience memorable in all the right ways!
