We had Chicken and Prawn Dumplings sorry i could not take the photo We had duck pancakes and Chicken Spring roll.. Omg..Everything was so delicious I would highly recommend this place. The price is resonable as per the quantity
We had dinner on Friday night, always busy and crowded on weekends here. The clay pot chicken and black bean beef were too salty with heavy sauces, but large portions. Chicken and prawn dumplings taste really good. Highly recommended the dumplings.
Nothing like Sweet and sour pork ribs. The ribs are salty and soaked in a pool of juice. You really need to pay attention to quality of the meat as it’s not fresh at all. The veggies are crunchy and fresh. But who would ask for tons of veggies with pork ribs?

It was a big mistake coming to this restaurant. Food was not delicious and the service was slow. We ordered two entrées, one is Pekin duck which was served rather quickly, but for the second one, deep fried tofu, we waited so long that the other 4 tables arrived after us 3 tables of 2 and 1 table of 4 received already their main dishes, yet we didn't have our tofu and main dishes. We asked the waitress for it, she simply said that she already asked kitchen to make our dishes without giving exploitations regarding to their erreurs. The two main courses we ordered was crisply chicken and seasonal veggies in garlic sauce. The chicken was half warm and half cold. The meat was super dry and flavorless. The seasonal mix veggies was full of MSG and they used canned mushrooms, bamboo and baby corn. That doesn't sound very reasonable, does it? It was a terrible dinner. Do not recommend !
Visiting from Sydney and decided to try this dumpling restaurant out in Toorak. We were extremely happy with our choice, the place was packed, they have two levels. Friendly staff, fast service, even with how busy the place was. Since it was just two of us we only ordered three items Pan Fried Dumplings, Deep Fried Green Beans with Minced Pork and Fried Eggplant with Sweet Chilli. Everything was amazing! So tasty and generous portions. We ordered another serving of plain rice and had the leftovers for breakfast Our bill came to $65. Including two drinks. Will recommend this place to all my Melbourne Family to try for themselves. I loved the Deco and comfy tables and chairs! Will be back!
The dumplings here is good, really. They have a good taste of chilli oil that match with all the dishes. It's good to share to try many dishes as they come out in a sharing portion.
Dumplings are clean fresh tasting and full of flavour - one of the better dumpling places around, ingredients seem to be of a good quality. We also tried the Shandong crispy chicken, flavours are authentic and the sauce really makes the dish. Love the old school decor - good service despite the busy dinner sitting.
We are absolutely shocked by the rating this eatery has gained. Without going into too much details: Dumplings were bad...Very bad, no favor, no texture and very dry. Calamari was crisp but rubbery....Quite difficult to swallow, let alone chew.
Great dumplings plus the usual westernised Chinese fare. Byo and licensed. Very reasonably priced. Was busy in our Sunday evening visit so booking recommend.
