I recently had the pleasure of hosting my bridal shower at The Botanical Hotel, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the start, the communication was excellent. Kirsty was incredibly efficient, ensuring everything was organized to perfection and even helping me choose the wines for the day, which was such a thoughtful touch.nnOn the day, the service was impeccable. The two gentlemen who helped serve drinks were fantastic—they were so attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. They even confirmed the timing of the food service, which helped us stay on track and ensured the day went off without a hitch.nnThe venue itself was beautiful, and the atmosphere was perfect for our event. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate with friends and family. I highly recommend The Botanical Hotel for anyone looking to host a special event. Thank you again for making my bridal shower such a memorable day!
I recently tried the scotch fillet steak, which was recommended to me. While I found it to be good, it wasn't anything remarkable—the mushroom sauce actually stole the spotlight, proving to be more impressive than the meat itself. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the side dishes, particularly the potato bake and the salad, which were fresh and well-balanced in flavor. The spanner crab pasta was just not good, had 2 much tomato concentrate and tasted like someone dabbled in a bit too much.The entrees were decent, though none stood out; if I had to choose, I would recommend the calamari and the pancake dish. Overall, the food was satisfactory, but the wait time for our main courses was frustratingly long—much longer than I'd expect, even in a fine dining setting. By the time our meals arrived, other diners were finishing theirs.
If you're planning an event I can't recommend Botanical Hotel highly enough! I recently hosted my bridal shower here, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish.nnClaudia, the events manager, was truly exceptional. She went above and beyond in every way—so kind, accommodating, and incredibly prompt with communication. She even helped me to carry heavy plinths from my car into the restaurant on a 32c day!nnThe food was excellent, all the guests commented how delicious everything was. The service on the day was seamless, and the space itself was beautiful. I also really appreciated how flexible and accommodating the team was allowing decorations and personalising the space.nnWould highly recommend booking here!
We celebrated a milestone birthday with family in the private dinning room. The space was beautifully decorated with artwork. We could watch some chefs preparing our food through a rectangular window too. The dishes were 5 star, scallops were a favourite entree. Private drink service provided and staff very organised. Enjoyed our special celebration dinner.
