Story

Brisbane has played host to many Wallaby victories and is one of George Gregan’s favourite towns. The Gregans welcomed the opportunity to open The George Bar and Bistro, now a fixture on Brisbane’s vibrant dining scene, serving up classic bistro fare in one of the cities most coveted and stylish spaces.
Open for breakfast, lunch, drinks and dinner, The George Bar and Bistro offers a well-priced, high quality dining experience for CBD workers and Brisbane locals.
Breakfast choices range from Jepps Muesli to the simple yet satisfying healthy breakfast. Attentive service makes a working lunch at The George simple. The quintessential bistro menu features favourites for lunch and dinner, like our Burmese Curry to our Grazing Platter, a taste of our menu on a plate.
Here at the George bar it’s not just as simple as breakfast through to dinner, we cater for all occasions; boardroom//corporate dining, all day office packages' canapé functions and exclusive use of the restaurant.
