Pleasurable dining experience for a group of 10 lunching in the Saturday sun. I enjoyed my cocktail followed by sharing one small plate and one large plate with my husband. Could not fault the delicious scallops on top of corn relish. Our large plate of tiger prawns rigatoni was quite a deep robust dish more suited for a rainy dinner but still tasted great with the capers throughout.

We visited last night as a late Valentine's Day date. The atmosphere was inviting and friendly. Service was brilliant. We were seated on an outdoor table with beautiful views across the river to the CBD. The food was delicious, generous in portion size, and served in a staggered manner, with the first dish arriving promptly, just as we wanted. Thanks again! We'll be back.

If I could give zero stars I would. I just dined at Popolo and chose to do the picnic option as we have a 16 month old. The food took 40 minutes to get to us (being basically a pizza and chips) and when it did, the food was cold and the drinks hot. The menu states you get olives, we did not receive any. The chips and pizza were like eating cardboard. One positive was the salad, although it was mixed leaves and cheese with salad dressing so nothing fancy. I would not return to this restaurant and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

such a beautiful spot overlooking the river and city. we came here as the sun was setting which is wonderful to watch while having a drink. the service is very friendly here. as it is in such a great location the prices are expensive. we really enjoyed the mushroom lasagne but the mushroom pizza was very lacklustre and dry. it needs so much more flavour especially for the price. they say that the idea is that food is meant to be shared so don’t expect meals to come out at the same time.

Absolutely amazing food, venue and service! We had an incredible waiter who bent over backwards and the entire Team helped sing Happy Birthday with a cocktail on the house! Highly recommend to anyone who loves Italian!
