We dined at 1:30 on a cracking Saturday afternoon. We chose the beer garden for a relaxed experience. There were a few tables available downstairs and a few up on the mezzanine, which appealed to us.nnThe area had a sports bar feel and we were were comfortable and relaxed.nnThe menu and drinks range was broad and appealing. I had the wagyu steak, which came with excellent chips and a mountain of coleslaw that I couldn’t finish. The steak was very tasty and perfectly cooked.nnMy beautiful wife had the arancini balls and these were excellent.nnThe food arrived very quickly and the staff were friendly and helpful.nnThere was something surreal about hearing the cars go over the bridge overhead. The pub had a wonderful historic feel.nnThis was a superb visit.

Some very good service there at times and other times not.  Good for gathering with colleagues and friends after work. Warm lighting and cozy seating indoors.

If you are looking for a cheaper pub meal in the bar area, you are at the right place. The food was fantastic and in comparison to other restaurants in the are very cheap but of high quality. The cocktails and beers were great as well and staff was very friendly.nI gave 1 star less for atmosphere, as there are to many screens inside that just bring it down, but otherwise I totally recommend it.

3.5   - Cosy dining space and was pleasantly surprised with the food. Tried the;n Oysters - I'm generally not a fan of oysters but the ones served were fresh and enjoyablenn Salt & pepper calamari -  While slighty stale, the flavors compensated generously. Would recommend!nnChargrilled black Angus rump steak - Though it fell short of perfection with a tad dry texture, it still held its ground. While not the pinnacle of steak perfection, it was a commendable rendition nonetheless

The quality of the food that we consumed at the Story Bridge Hotel on a Monday night was very good. We had the Grilled Atlantic Salmon, Thai Chicken Salad and the Warm roasted Pumpkin & Beetroot Salad with Smoked Salmon. The variety of the meals were impressive and catered for most tastes. It is recommended to reserve a table.
