Had a very nice stay her over the long weekend.nVery good value have paid a lot more for a lot lessnService was exceptional and location is very central to everything.nRoom was everything advertised and very very clean. cleaning lady deserves a pay rise The property as a whole is a little past its prime I would say due a refit in next few years but still very nice and above average for price range. Only things that let down was only two towels in double room and they are a little undersized. Definitely recommend for a couple's weekend away...
Very handy location in Taupo with super easy access to the lakeside walkway. Incredible views of the lake all along the walkway and from the windows of most rooms. Helpful owner directed us to a great Indian Restaurant for delightfully tasty butter chicken and naan bread. Our room was well appointed with a spacious bathroom which included a shower and separate bath
We received great service upon arrival the room we had offered a balcony overlooking the lake along with our own private spa also on the balcony. There is a cafe on site and several restaurants near-by. It's perfectly located near the city so not far to travel to all the major attractions Taupo has to offer. We had a fantastic time and enjoyed our stay at The Cove.
Such a lovely place. Having our own personal spa was amazing unfortunately the spa was so hot and we didnt know how to turn it down the bed was so comfortable and love the location. Will be back thats for sure.
Good, tidy rooms. Only complaint is outdated and small tv no streaming etc. Also we paid more to have private spa but we didnt use because its too hot. Soo hot it was burning my skin...nI see another review saying same
