Great location, 24hr service desk. We arrived after 10pm but we're serviced and directed to our room.nThe beds were comfy the room was fit for what we needed which was just to rest.nIt was still quite pricey $489 1 night .nRoom was clean and loved the spacious balcony which overlooked Taupo Lake
Bathroom floor had hair all over it and at night insects swarm outside the door because of the room lights being on and the fact that there is no indoor hallway. Laundry is not free. I would never stay here again. The only upside is that they have a gym outdoor and a sauna, and the hotel restaraunt was very good. We had a great view of the lake and there is a lot of food nearby, and a grocery store. Our hot water kettle leaked.
It's a lovely place to spend your holiday. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff and help desk. Breakfast was awesome. Booked room door was not working when checked in but they gave us another emergency room which was even nicer and had a jacuzzi. Plenty of parking just upfront. Fair size heated swimming pool just outside our room. Lovely views of the lake during breakfast. Big enough rooms. Can't wait to go there again. Loved it.
Great location, fantastic heated pool. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Kids had heaps of fun. Only negative was our neighbours kids being rowdy late at night.
The restaurant is really amazing, and the staff is very accommodating! We asked for a custom cooked whole fish and it was very tasty + excellent presentation! Extra credit to the saucier. The view and location is of course amazing.
