Tentworld is a family owned and operated business. It has been serving residents of Queensland and Australia since 1968.

Story

Tentworld is an online camping retail store with 10 physical locations. It has been in operation since 1968 supplying Australia with quality camping & hiking equipment.

We take pride in our customer service, and great value offering. We have enabled hundreds of thousands of people to have great camping holidays.

We stock a wide range of top brand names such as Blackwolf, Darche, Engel, OZtent, OZtrail & Waeco to name just a few. There are 10 retail store locations across Australia. See our website for locations.

At our stores you can find a large range of tents, swags, portable fridges and much more camping gear can be seen on display. Our experienced staff can help you with camping and product knowledge as well as product selection which is something we pride ourselves on and sets us apart from the competition.

The Tentworld website & Online store has been operating since 2003 so that all of Australia can take advantage of our excellent customer service, product knowledge and sale prices. Great product selection but the customer service is absolutely horrible. Walked into the store, I was not greated or asked if I needed help. I asked about a product and was made to feel dumb... Also was told they could jot price match an identical item.nnIv been to other tentworlds before but the one in brendale is just diffrent and broken. It really needs life brought back into it...nnWent to Snowys down the road and what a difference that was. I can see why Snowys is always full of people.
Very helpful staff. I think I dealt with Jim hopefully I got the name right. Anyway, I bought a display model tent, which I was advised would take a few days to pack down. Unfortunately, they realised the tent was damaged when they packed it down, and I was advised that they couldn't sell it to me. It was a clearance model, and there were no others available in the State, and I needed it quickly. Jim managed to find a similar model for me at the Archerfield store, and it was transacted at the same price. He made everything super easy - and arranged the logistics with the Archerfield store. Good experience.
Unbelievable!nThe team at Tentworld went above and beyond for me.nMy son damaged a friends tent and i had to replace the fly that i could no find anywhere and know one was really interested of helping me.nWith no hesitation the team at Brendale store some how tracked one down for me when they didn't need to.nCan't talk highly enough. I recommend this store and i will be shopping there for now on.
The store is wide, with a lot of products and great deals. And easy for parking car.nThe staff are kind, polite and welcoming.nThere are many exhibits on site to see.
Terrible with faulty products, such a nightmare to deal with and I will never shop there again. 300W Oztrail Solar blanket and 1300W Oztrail battery purchased online via Click and Collect at Tentworld. I went to the Brendale store to collect the items. As we had no power following November storms in Brisbane, I was desperate, I had informed the staff of the situation as well. The battery looked fine however the box that the solar blanket came in was in quite poor condition. The Tentworld staff member asked me to sign for the items before I was actually able to see them. When I queried the poor condition of the box I was told that it sustained damage in transit but that the product was new. I asked to swap it for another one and my request was declined. Our power came on later that evening so I never tried the solar blanket. However in January during after another power outage I got the chance to try the solar blanket. It was charging the battery at 6% in an hour. The manual says 4 hours to full charge. I contacted Tentworld about this and they have been making me jump through hoops and are denying the fault exists. Such a massive waste of time! I have so many photos to show it is faulty, I have tested the blanket with 2 different batteries and provided them with ample evidence, and have now had to lodge claims with my bank, the manufacturer, Office of Fair Trading and ACCC. Spare yourself the drama and shop elsewhere.
