The pan fried eel rice look great but is definately too salty ,that why i just manage to eat half of the rice and i told the waitress, and she didnt take my feed back seriously or even feed back to the manager, well, i am still very hungry but i will never order anymore food to fill my stomach and will never ever get back to this shop again.
A great little place for delicious food. We ate at 5.30pm on a Thursday night. There were only about 6 other customers. Very prompt and friendly service, with water brought out as soon as we sat down. I ordered the Stir fry noodles with pork and vegetables. Extremely delicious. It cost $12.90, and was a very generous serving. It took less than 10 mins for our food to be served. Will definitely return.
Good service and staff. Had the Taiwanese Beef Brisket Soup. Nice taste. But its worth improving the recipe, and didn't notice they didn't include the egg it's available for extra $2. And traditional recipe has garlic and ginger, but I didn't notice any in the soup.
I got a takeaway from here. The service was very friendly, the guy even held the door open for me as I left. I munched on some popcorn chicken on the walk home and thought it was pretty great. Once I got home I was let down though... the dumplings and 3 cup chicken was average at best. Won't be back.
Cheap, fast service, and most dishes are decent. The dumplings in chili oil is average at best, avoid here and try somewhere else better. The beef noodles is good, but an option for more pickled cabbage would be better.
Disgusting customer experience here. We were ordered to pay for a meal that was accidentally brought out to us and the fried chicken was brought out raw. Try the dumpling place next door for amazing dumplings. Will never come here again.
I don't dislike this place, in fact it is one of my favourite places to eat. It's just that there is a limited option and the food is just so-so. They could start by making the waiters and waitresses to be more hard working. Though I wouldn't recommend people to eat here, I still encourage people to try new things!
They made two mistakes on our order and made us pay for a plate of noodles that we couldn't eat due to dietary constraints. The food is ok, but not outstanding. Dumplings are definitely better in nearby Box Hill for example. There was a small piece of pork bone in our noodles that I hurt a tooth on. The bubble tea with pearl was ok, but the bubbles were undercooked again, better in box hill. In summary, it's ok to eat here but I wouldn't choose to eat there especially with all the other choices nearby and I definitely wouldn't come here specially...
Taiwan Cafe can be a bit of a hit and miss. Service is ok, food is quite cheap. Personally I love getting the XL Crispy Fried Chicken Rice Box, however having tried other items on the menu food quality can be quite average.
To be honest, I can't find any traditional Taiwanese taste in this restaurant. However, they still make the foods on the "right" way Style and plating Good choice when you don't want to line up and wait for dinner.
