Been here a few times and overall it’s a good place to sit for a while, although music can be a bit loud to chat with friends. This place is so big and open late which makes it good place to catch up with friends. I think in the past I had their cheesecake which was good. Also had their ribs and wings which from memory I like the wings better than the ribs. And recently tried their pizza and calamari. One thing is that their size is always big! Except pizza, size is pretty normal. But yes, made a good value for the price. I like the pizza dough which was chewy and doughy, but overall the topping was a bit boring in taste. Their calamari was cooked well and tender, I got in entree size with additional chips. Chips are quite nice, salad was drenched in dressing, probably quite small but understandable because it’s an entree size, but again, quite generous with the calamari, I definitely had more than enough calamari even for entree size. Overall good food and late night closing make it good to see friends. However it’s a bit dark inside and a bit noisy.
I had my engagement party here and it was spectacular! Very flexible menu options, great size room, we had 46 people but can easily fit 60 people seated inside and a good size outside walled off section. Table service was amazing even with the entire restaurant full! Neil and his staff did an amazing job and we have been getting compliments about that night from patrons in the restaurant from the night along with family and friends who attended! Highly recommend very good value!!
Great venue for a group catch up, with happy hour drinks and a good selection of mains. Had a dinner party here, booking process and planning with the different managers throughout the event was a breeze. A very well coordinated team, well done.
Really good food thats always kept up with the times so far. That's the only reason these guys have been open for more then 20 years since before I started highschool. The decor and interior is dates though but there's good amount of space, also outside dining and a smoking area for smokers. Good bar area and good service. One of the best places in Glen . Needs better ambience and interior to keep up with times but fantastic place to eat out in Glen. 4 stars as anywhere good always has room for improvement.
Nice place to catch a few drinks and they have a good food menu to choose from as well. We visited on a Saturday evening and the place was packed. The drinks menu is decent and we had the beer of the month, the house red and ice teas. The food menu was surprisingly extensive. We tried the halloumi chips which came with a salad, the Dips this could’ve been a much better dish, the garlic focaccia bread deserves a shout out was light, fluffy and filled with garlic and cheese, the vegetarian fajitas, the wild mushroom pizza and the Hangover 2 pizza. So we are more than we drank and it was delicious.
This was my first time coming to this cafe/restaurant and I was very impressed! The service from the staff and atmosphere was fantastic, friendly and inviting with an old school diner vibe. I had the Elvis Chicken Burger after a suggestion from one of the waiters as I was tossing up between a few options and damn, it is definitely up there when it comes to the best burgers I have ever had!!! The chicken just melted in my mouth, was unbelievably soft with a great overall texture for southern fried chicken and the chips were superb as well. I would definitely be suggesting this place to anyone looking for a casual and nice dinner. Will be coming back again in the future to come!
Nice variety of food offered here which includes Nasi Goreng! Our experience with their food has been great so far - Fish & Chips, Southern Fried Chicken, Crispy Cauliflower, Risotto and a few others. Overall good experience. The only feedback that I'd offer to them is to train their staff, even those who don't take orders, to respond to customers. I waved at a bunch of staff by the bar - a few looked at me and then looked away. I had to walk up to ask if I could be be served. Would be nice to be acknowledged and help by calling the right person to attend to us if you are not the in the right role.
Love the atmosphere here, the waiters are also very helpful. We only came to have a drink and cake after our dinner. I have black coffee and baked cheese cake. Love the cake, it goes very well with the coffee.Food: 4/5
This was an amazing experience, great food and even better service! The staff were so accomodating and polite, going the extra mile to help us out. The atmosphere is beautiful, with nice feature lights and a very cool train theme. We were served by Annie, she was so helpful, offering to check with the chef for dietry requirements and more. She always had a warm smile on her face and made us feel so comfortable. My family and I loved it here and would definitely go again ‍
