T&E Asian Groceries is spacious and friendly shop offering a wide and exotic range of Asian grocery items and products. The business was started by Teody and Emma Francisco in 2000 and originally operated from a garage in Banks. Over three years the couple have built up their business, sourcing products from all over Asia as well as specialty items from the USA and New Zealand. They have worked hard and built up a great reputation for quality and service and opened the shop “T & E Asian Grocery” at the Fyshwick Fresh Food Markets in 2003.

For the first few years they operated from a small shop on the eastern side of the markets and now with the market wide renovation almost complete operates from a new and spacious store. This has allowed them to increase their range massively and provide even more exotic choices for their customers. T & E provide a unique range of Japanese and Philippine goods found nowhere else in Canberra. They have grocery items from Thailand, Korea, China, and Indonesia. You will find just about every Asian grocery item you can think of and some that you just don't expect! There are drinks and confectionary from the US, India and New Zealand. You can also find herbal health products, beauty products, gift items, traditional Asian cooking utensils, crockery and utensils. It’s a magnificent place with friendly and helpful staff.
