One time I was in doing my weekly shop and a dog named Pavlov came in and was bleeding on the floor through his paws. A very helpful employee came and addressed the situation, acting decisively in a moment of crisis to mop up the blood before further mayhem could ensue. Overall, 9.8/10 experience. Cigs could have been cheaper but Coles and Fyshwick have bad vibes so.
Really poor experience with a certain self-proclaimed "manager". The other Manager couldn't have handled it any worse. The place needs to be restored - looks like something from the 1960s and not in a good way. Horrible feel to it, extremely expensive, but great for the kids to earn a few dollars after school. I cannot go there and I'm a local - will do all I can to avoid. Take me to Woolies anytime. Local Coles not much better, and all this in so-called "affluent" inner Canberra. Pfft.
I stopped by on Easter Sunday, and had 2 very friendly gentlemen assist me! I was so impressed with how kind and friendly they were, both working on a holiday! Keep up the great work, I'll be back again, just because of how kind these two employees are!
Very convenient for when you need something and is close everywhere else. I find this grocer very expensive. Some items more expensive than getting it from service station. Bread, milk etc expensive. Is a housing apartments near by, middle class social economics, jet there been charge more for staple foods more than the fancy coles up the road, manuka!
I live nearby and come in regularly, one of the best-faced and shelf stocked supermarkets I've ever been in. Always impressed - it seems like they care about maintaining a polished and professional appearance. Would recommend.
Very expensive. Cigs are 20 to 30% more than at Coles, bread is around 80% more that at Coles! Liquor is strangely a bit cheaper than Coles. Only shop here if you have no choice or don't care about being slugged.
Had a crazy staff member run out of the shop at my partner and I screaming at the top. Of his lungs "You haven't paid for that!!!", when just 30 seconds before we had paid another staff member at the register. We were at our car, receipt in hand. Seriously, open your eyes. Won't be buying here again, who knows what we will be accused of next. Go to the Fyshwick fresh food markets of you want service and quality.
As this is my local grocer I have e had mixed experiences at this shop. I have found all the freezer products that I purchased in the last few months have been poor in quality. Freezerburn and clearly refrozen icecreams

Your cover is judged no matter if you're a hard cover or paper back. Seen boss explode at a customer for accidentally ripping 3 bags off the roll he stated how is he supposed to make a living? when people use 3c worth accidentally! Then I saw the boss at Coles and he refused to pay 15c for a bag haha he's certainly frugal maybe I should follow his lead
