Popped in to grab some supplies for a road trip south of the state.nCouldn't find what we were looking for so we approached the lady at the service counter. She stopped what she was doing to help us out and she actually took us to what we were looking for. This was a lovely thing for her to do to help me find an item.nOverall the store is large and well stocked. The in store bakery had just put out some fresh packets of pizza bread, which were still warm so we got a pack to enjoy as a snack in the car.nThere were plenty of self service checkouts available also.
Shame I have to give it 1 star because I’d prefer to give it ZERO. What’s with this place always having no stock?! Is it really that hard to manage stock levels? Because I love coming in and not being able to get basic essentials. And yes I know how the system works. I used to work in a supermarketnALSO the fruit and vegetable section is rarely ever acceptable. The quality on show is garbage. No QC has taken place or workers don’t know how to QC? It’s really not that hard! Unless they’re under the impression if you leave things on the shelf long enough they will sell?nThe only saving grace of this store is the sliced sourdough bread. Absolutely 10/10.nAnyway sort it out!!!nnUPDATE**** THE CAR PARK SMELLS LIKE POO I AM LITERALLY GAGGING AND CAN YOU PLEASE RESTOCK THE OATS!!!!!!!!!
Like most Coles, prices are up-up-staying-up. I've never seen it without aisles crowded with refill palettes esp up the back, so much so that wheelchair accessibility is an issue. I have sensory issues and the narrower, untidy aisles make noise and pedestrian conflicts far greater than many other stores.
This honestly has to be the most poorly managed supermarket around. I write this as I currently stand in a queue of 8 people for the one assisted check out that is open. No one working here looks happy. I’m here most weeks and the staff look despressed and are grouchy. I can only imagine the management have fostered this poor culture and are not looking after their people. It’s a depressing and tired store in need of a refit. The fruit and veg are also consistently disappointing. I really hope it gets better.
The car park provides convenient parking close to Manuka's retail district. The tariff was reasonable. I believe the car park remains open in the evenings. The supermarket itself looked like a normal Coles format, I recall that it was acceptable on my last visit a few years ago.
