Phil is a great guy who is genuinely interested in what is best for you. I walked in yesterday to buy a ukulele to try and teach myself how to play one. He took me through all the options that were available and suggested the most suitable option for me given the circumstances. He was informative, knew what he was talking about and assisted in the Purchesing decision without putting any pressure at all. I would recommend the place to anyone without hesitation.

Phil is a gentleman and the best person in Melbourne to give your Fender to. Or Gibson. Or any guitar. Treats it like it is his own. I have found Steve to be always approachable, knowledgeable and friendly. I have never ever felt uncomfortable trying out instruments there.  Great place.

Bought a magnificent Fujigen tele from Steve and found his customer service outstanding.  Very informative, not pushy and very competitive with price.  I find some of the other reviews a bit strange about trying out the guitars as he had absolutely no qualms with me trying out the guitars in the store and he even brought over different guitars with different style bridges for me to try.

For over 20 years I have been very well looked after by Steve at Syndal Music with service across the board: buying my sons guitars, fixing valves on old amps, strings or simply good advice on the best teachers in the area. Never wasted my time nor given bad advice. A public thank you..
