Wouldn't know the first thing about how to use this Wrench as my team needed it and I was just picking it up. The guys at Sydney tools really went above and beyond to help me source what I required, give me a run down on what it was and give me a good price below marked price!! Keep up the great work!!!
Have visited Sydney Tools Port Melbourne many times & always found the staff to be knowledgeable & very helpful, in particular I would like to thank Kevin who has been awesome to deal with, patient & very informative. Well done guys, with a special thank you to Kevin, I will be back many times. Much Appreciated- Chris
I went several times to this store, however today's experience was unacceptable so I am no longer coming back. After a minute being in the store I have been told very rudely to put my backpack behind the counter by one of the staff members as if I was a kid about to steal something note than I have a darker skin-tone if that is relevant. I felt absolutely disrespected by the way I have been talked to, so I left. This definitely wasn't like a simple security check were they simply as to verify the bag when leaving the store as it could happen on previous occasions.
Tried to return a Milwaukee tool with a major problem that was acknowledged by the 2IC in the shop. Was denied a refund/replacement and told that I was not entitled to one under consumer law. If you value your consumer rights, do not shop here.
Helpful, competitive prices, friendly staff and a great range of tools.
Nathaniel was very helpful both in store and later on the phone and by email.
Not very happy with the experience at this shop. Have deals on and I call to confirm. They said they did. Went to get my tool kit and they only have a pre-opened one that the box was horrible. My kit was supposed to have 4 batteries and in the box was only 3 and call them and said I have to wait 2 extra weeks to get the battery I have already paid for. Very very disappointed with this shop. I should have gone to a different store
Highly rate and recommend the boys down at Sydney Tools Port Melbourne, especially Andy Andrew who has helped me from day one setting me up with all the tools I need. I've just started my carpentry apprenticeship and needed a tonne of tools, Andy took the time to find out what I needed, followed up with a few phone calls and emails as well as giving his own recommendations and thoughts on some things I'd missed. Not only did he put together a killer deal, he also had everything set aside and ordered a few things that weren't there so when I dropped in a week or so later after finalising the deal everything was ready to go. The prices are pretty comparable with all your other major retailers, but the biggest reason I keep going back is the service these guys provide. I'm in there quite often, and sometimes I'll just drop in to tyre kick and froth over things I want but don't need haha. I might not be buying anything on that day, but Andy will always take the time to say hi or shake my hand, even if he's busy. The store is incredibly clean and well laid out. I'm a Milwaukee guy and there's a whole isle dedicated to the brand, and if you're a fan of Makita or Dewalt there's the full range and dedicated isle in there too. They also carry other major brands like Paslode, Hikoki, Stabila, and even their house brand Xtorque is quality. I've used the Xtorque bits, hand tools and hand saws which are a lot more affordable than the big brand counterparts and can't fault them in any way. They're in a great location, there's plenty of car spots and their trade nights are awesome too! If you're a tradie or just an everyday DIYer, you can't go wrong with having a dedicated tool store like Sydney Tools Port Melbourne you can drop into who have good advice, huge range and quality service to match.
Excellent customer service. John went above and beyond to help me. He chased up an out of stock item for me within a day. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Highly recommend Sydney Tools Port Melbourne.
Very helpful staff in Dispatch section. I bought a lawnmower kit that came in a very huge box. There wasn't any hope of it fitting in my car. The staff member unpacked the box and helped me load the items into my car. Fantastic service.
