Where do I start...
Beautiful genuine smiles greeted me and showed me to my accommodation, wow what a stunning piece of heaven! I instantly felt relaxed and at home within their home. 
After a hectic week few months the doctor ordered me to rest and although I'm here on a business trip this was the perfect place to combine to the two! 
I will be leaving here feeling relaxing and re-energized.

What a wonderful facility.  Cleanliness, comfort and tranquillity.  A yummy breakfast basket.  The outdoor balcony with river views, an amazing sunset and a wine in the cool breeze is a must.  The hosts get a special mention for their friendliness and their knowledge of the Maryborough and surrounding districts.  The donkeys have a piece of my heart.  They are always ready for a cuddle and chopped carrot.  We have already commenced planning our next visit.  Thank You Angela and Wayne.

This place has magical charm about it that you certainly wouldn't expect at this price. My kids loved the horses and donkeys. It was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Watching the river run by with a glass of wine and cheese platter was my favourite Saturday afternoon thus far. I can't wait to return.

I stayed with my family for a magic weekend. Perfect place to relax and recharge. Fantastic hosts with every little detail thought of and taken care of.  I'll be returning again soon and would recommend others to stay too. You won't regret it!

We had the pleasure of spending some time at Standy's Rest recently - such a beautiful place.  Angela and Wayne are wonderful hosts, and the standard of accommodation is simply first class ... it truly feels like a home away from home.  Relaxing on the back verandah and looking out over the serene river and lush countryside is so restful - we would recommend Standy's Rest to anyone looking for somewhere special to stay, we felt so welcome!
