Clean, quiet and the perfect location. Our 3 night stay was exactly as we had expected it should be. Check in was easy and the room was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Simple, affordable and convenient. The location made it easy for us to travel wherever we needed to with ease. Louise and Shane made sure we had everything we needed and knew where everything was without being intrusive. We have been travelling between Ipswich and Hervey Bay for 25+ years and would recommend this motel to anyone looking for a simple carefree base for their next trip.
Perfect stop off for an overnight after a long day driving. Beautiful, clean and welcoming rooms. Very big and comfortable beds. We didn’t get breakfast from the cafe but it looked pretty good. The staff on reception were lovely. We book quite late and were getting in quite late. But they made it all very easy for us. Thank you.
We stayed overnight during our journey north. The accommodation was lovely, clean, and well-located with clear instructions. The staff were helpful and friendly, providing a room with 2 beds for us as they recognized our needs due to my daughter's disability. However, the larger bed was a bit hard and uncomfortable. Our room was near the breakfast kitchen, and staff were loud early in the morning, waking us up. The restaurant food was decent but expensive, with tough steak and salty sauces. Despite these drawbacks, I would still recommend this hotel.
I recently stayed in family room No.11 and found it very comfortable. Parking is right at your door. The main bedroom has a king size bed with own airconditioner, wardrobe with iron & ironing board which I made use of. It also has its' own TV. There is only one bathroom that comes off the kitchen end of the apartment and cannot be accessed directly from the main bedroom. The lounge/dining/kitchen area has a 2-seater and single lounge chair. I really appreciated having a comfortable lounge and good size TV to watch in the evening. There is a cupboard with spare pillows and blankets and a very handy luggage bench. A round dining table with 4 chairs denotes the dining area. Kitchen has a good size fridge/freezer, microwave, sink and well equiped cupboard of plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery and utensils, dish wash, cloth and tea towel. Tucked in a corner at end of lounge and next to bathroom is a single bed with trundle bed under it. This faces a back door with glass panel at top which is very bright in early morning so eye mask is useful. The bathroom is very spacious with non-slip tiles on the floor. The shower is also spacious with a door that seals well. An open cupboard under the handbasin has extra towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner and soap. The beds have a top sheet, doona and loose doona cover over the top. My only criticism would be that breakfast was on the expensive side at $19 or $25 for buffet but then once you have supplies it is easy enough to get your own breakfast. It was a very nice place to stay and I would highly recommend Rm 11 if you are after a family room.
What a wonderful place to stay.nManagement are so welcoming and very friendly. They allowed our request to check in early..nOn-site Restaurant that makes things more enjoyable. Nice pool area. Rooms are nicely decorated , very roomy and comfortable..nClose to shops, clubs . Great place to explore for historical information and attractions...nHighly recommend.nWill stay again
