I presented to ED today with my 5wk old, having pain and issues post cesarean. I was blown away by how lovely all the staff have been. Firstly the Dr, who not only listened and validated what I was feeling, but involved me in my own care and treatment. First time in ages that I haven’t been scared asking for pain relief - he was just such a lovely person. I then had a nurse Liz Elizabeth on the Wilson Ward, who was just absolutely beautiful. When I was taken for scans, she watched him, fed him and gave him cuddles. I honestly have been blown away.  After Wesley hospital did a real number on me, I was so nervous going anywhere. I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at St Andrew’s.

Tonight my experience was awful Usually they’re a good hospital, but tonight they’ve lost my service. Won’t use them again. Waited in the waiting room for 3 hours to be assessed by the dr for 5 mins, got home and my son is super unwell with a 40.5 degree fever, no temp check was done except for our initial one and the lady at reception was rude. Sorry ST Andrews, tonight you’ve lost our business, shame as you were our go to hospital…. but I can’t take the risk again. We waited too long for poor service.

You have a beautiful nurse working for you in the emergency, his name is Josh. His care and kindness mixed with good humour when you aren't feeling your best makes all the difference. Following me out with hot packs says it all. So kind of you thanks again Nurse Josh I much appreciated your care

My daughter attended for her knee surgery under Dr Moroney. He is a lovely dr and did a greta job taking care of her and explaining everything. The staff at the hospital were so caring and kind from check in to discharge. She was nervous going in for her first surgery ever and the anaesthetist and nurse Angelina who took her to theatre were wonderful. She had a really good experience and I as her mother and support person was impressed..

Amazing hospital the staff are so friendly the nursing staff are second to none and all the team in the operating theatre were brilliant really took care of me even my surgeon went and got a warm blanket to put on me. The meals were fantastic I highly recommend this hospital a credit to all that work there

In St Andrews atm. The nursing staff are fantastic, the food service is great, cleaners and other staff are very pleasant people and very polite. Love St Andrews for my treatments.

I recently went through the emergency department at St Andrew’s. I was in within 5 minutes and honestly had an amazing experience with the staff.  The doctors seemed genuinely happy to be there, and I was treated very well.

Ipswich ED had 8.5hr wait time. Instead we went to St Andrews. $250 fee, but my partner was seen immediately and we were in and out within an hour.  Seriously, if it's an actual emergency, just pay and get the expert care, who see you straight away.

I have to say I think this hospital has improved so much I’ve been to visit my friend on the second floors and third floor and the staff are so welcoming the hospital looks so nice  you really do feel they care my friend only had good things to say she was really looked after, so thank you everyone who works there

For a private hospital, I was very unimpressed with the level of care and the attitude of nursing staff.   I have been unfortunate to be admitted to this hospital twice this year.   There won't be a third time.   In my honest opinion, if you want to receive decent care and be treated with respect, drive the extra k's to a Brisbane private hospital.   There was one nurse, however, who was a complete standout - unfortunately, she went on five days leave after the first night.  You couldn't get me out of there fast enough.
