I recently spent 5 days in the hospital, including 4 days in the Critical Care Unit, due to asthma and rhinovirus. This was my first time ever being admitted to hospital, and overall I’m very grateful for the care I received.nnI arrived in the ED struggling to breathe, and the staff acted quickly and took my condition seriously. A special thank you to Dr James Phillips, who was my ED doctor. He was calm, confident in his diagnosis, and incredibly reassuring during a very frightening time.nnI was then admitted to the Critical Care Unit, where the level of care was excellent. The doctors and nurses were skilled, attentive, and supportive throughout. The bed was unbelievably comfortable and high tech, which made a big difference during a difficult few days.nnAt one point I needed a breathing mask, which made me feel quite claustrophobic. The two male nurses looking after me at the time were incredibly kind and reassuring, even holding my hand to help me stay calm. I won’t forget that.nnAfter moving to the general ward, there were moments where things felt a bit stretched, which is understandable given how busy the hospital is. Despite that, the staff always did their best to make sure I was looked after.nnIt would be amiss of me not to mention that there seemed to be some confusion around my discharge. It was drawn out across the day without much communication about what was happening, which was a bit frustrating.nnThe food throughout my stay was a real highlight. There was great variety and everything tasted amazing.nnWhat stood out most was the professionalism and compassion of the team. I felt safe and cared for throughout, and I’m very thankful to everyone who helped me through it.
You cannot go to St Andrew’s Private hospital and not go to the cafe. The most delicious home made food, absolutely delicious. My daughter was in there for day surgery even her meals were delicious. Staff and everyone was so friendly the whole procedure from start to finish was very manageable for us as family. I managed to do everything throughout my day without any mishaps which was awesome. Highly recommend St Andrew’s Private Hospital.
I recently had a surgery at St Andrews Ipswich hospital by Dr Mayooran Veerasinghan. He did my procedure exceptionally well, even if it was a complicated case. His knowledge and expertise works best outcome.It was a robotic surgery and I had minimal post surgical pain and I recovering well. He explained ore and post operative details very well. During the hospital stay he followed up everything thoroughly. I highly recommend Dr. Mayooran Veerasinghan for anyone requiring gynaecology issues.
Had an operation here a few days ago & the level of skill from the surgeon, his dedicated theatre staff & all of the nurses on level 3 made my stay soo comfortable. The hospital is well equipped, runs like a well oiled machine & their staff are exceptional humans. The care, dedication to their jobs & genuine attitudes towards their patients was evident at my stay. I am thankful to the 2 nurses who looked after me on level 3. They were fantastic at their job & as nurses need to be recognised for their outstanding level of care. I highly recommend St Andrews in Ipswich.
Brilliant service from the whole administration and medical team.nSpecial shout out to the two male nurses doing the admissions for day surgery. They were knowledgeable and friendly and made me feel comfortable and looked after from start to finish.
