In 2023 I had a 1 night stay in a surgical ward and was not impressed with the surgical staff for a couple of reasons.nSo when I had to go back again for a 4 night stay recently  I was not looking forward to the stay.nBut I can't fault any Ramsay staff this time, from the admission staff, the surgical team, the catering staff, and the staff on the Urology ward, who were amazing.nAll were all very welcoming, happy and very professional and well in control, despite being busy and under pressure. The agency staff, not so. But the Ramsay employees were fantastic.nThe only small downside were the meals, it all sounds lovely, but seemed to be a bit hit and miss. The butter chicken was delicious, but the fish and chips were a bit of a disappointment.nI would like to mention some of the staff by name for their personal manner, but I can't remember all their names.nSo it's a big thank you to everyone at Ramsay Greenslopes hospital.

Was treated like a queen, made the whole process of recovery so much easier.nEvery single staff member; receptionists, volunteers, nurses, and doctors were kind, caring, cheery & smiley, polite & I could tell they really cared about my well-being.nVery good experience when it could have been a terrible one due to the extent of my surgery.nThank you so much Greenslopes for providing amazing care. Best stay ever.

Absolutely unbelievable service that your hospital provides. The care from doctors, nursing staff, pathology, XRay lady, and receptionist were all very professional and understanding. Tests came back quickly for my diagnosis and treatment this morning in Emergency. Your work is very appreciated.nHave a great Xmas.

No complaints in regards to the doctors but unfortunately the nursing staff definitely need to learn empathy towards their patients. It costs nothing to smile and be kind something most of these nurses lack. I was lucky to have one nurse who gave me heat packs to apply after major surgery. As someone who suffers from severe anxiety they were very hesitant to give me my own medication. In pre op the nurse just totally ignored me. Hopefully I’ll make a full recovery and won’t have to visit this place again. The catering staff were much more pleasant to deal with.

I really cannot speak highly enough of my experience at the Greenslope EC last night. Public hospital EDs are always chaotic, noisy, unpredictable and risky with waits in cold hard chairs stretching on for hours on end - my experience at Greenslopes EC was the complete opposite. Was seen by a RN in less than five minutes after check in, then straight into EC and attentive nurse Tiani? Usually works on Ward 21 was then by my bedside well trolley side to complete observations and take blood. Then within 15 minutes the lovely Doctor Alex came to see me - he was kind, thorough and reassuring. He really wanted to cheer me up and made every effort to do so. He made sure I had ready access to pain/anxiety medication. This experience in itself was so soothing that I have decided I won’t ever visit a public hospital as a patient again. Thank you Greenslopes, and please inform Dr Alex and RN Tiarni how appreciative I am of their excellent care for me on 12/1/2025 8pm approx.
