Story

Few people know that James Frizelle, the founder of James Frizelles Automotive Group, started his working life as a mechanic in Sydney. Over 30 years later, the family owned business is still driven by James and his son Brett.

James Frizelle's Automotive Group was first established in 1985 and today is proud to be one of the largest and most trustworthy Motor Dealers in Queensland, with over 650 staff across six locations and selling over 15,000 new and used vehicles each year.

From the first visit 8 months ago to ordering a custom Disco 4 months ago and final delivery 2 weeks ago has been a very pleasant experience... I met Leo Yin - Salesman the first time I walked in ... he knew I was only after info but spent an hour explaining details and wasn't pushing to sell ... when I chose the Disco as the car (over BMW, Volvo and MB) I decided to give the sale to Leo ... he beat all the offers I had ... kept me informed during manufacture and called me on the day the car arrived in the dealership. 
All in all I cannot say how happy I am with Leo and Jonathan for the excellent service from initial visit to delivery. 
If you are buying a Land Rover or Jaguar talk to Leo ...

The showroom is clean and easy to get around. The team are genuinely friendly and helpful. Was an amazing experience from walk in to pick up of our new jaguar.

Whilst the delearship itself is new, modern clean & large (they CLAIM to be the 2nd largest delearship in THE WORLD), - the focus on the individual was limited to how much additional money they could extract from us via products & services we didn't require.... rather than ensuring our new vehicle experience was a pleasurable one.

1. The Sales person whom sold us the vehicle was not even there for the hand over, and made no mention of this to us & in fact lied by saying: "See you on Friday" when in fact he knew full well he'd be in Melbourne for training.
2. Springwood Jaguar forgot to charge us for an accessory we'd purchased for $440. By the time we'd returned home, we realised this & promptly called them to rectify.... However, Springwood Jaguar has already accessed our credit card, without our knowledge, approval or authorisation & helped themselves to the amount.
3. Part of our financed amount for the vehicle ($5k) was meant to be deposited into our account for onroad costs in Victoria... this still hasn't occured.. Springwood Jaguar are deliberately delaying the transfer to hang onto our money for a week or so longer... They have no regard for our financial situation.

It was clear to us that Springwood Jaguar is a large corporate focussed delearship whom resort to underhanded methods to access your finances which they are not authorised to do, delay payment of return of your funds & have no regard for the delivery of your vehicle once they have your money.

This was an abhorrent experience from our side from what seem to be a pack of money hungry vultures, determined to extract as much $ from you as they can, with no regard for the individual behind the bank account.

Springwood Jaguar is one of reasons behind the shonky reputation car dealers tend to have.

Frankly, if you MUST use them because their delearship size brings the best price... then just beware of the other shonky, underhanded methods they will endeavour to claw these $$ back.

WARNING: DO NOT give them your credit card details.
They will access it without your authorisation.

Avoid this delearship if you can.
