My word this Spotlight is filled to the brim with anything and everything one may need to create!nI was pleasantly surprised by the huge array of sewing patterns available, and was even more surprised to see they had patterns for Victorian gowns and other eras in history!nThe array of different fabrics available too was good, and at great prices.nIt was interesting to see dresses sewn already on the dress models in store, and imagine what the fabric would look like as a dress, or in that style. This is very helpful!
The membership program is worth it!nnGreat sized Spotlight store with loads of options.nnCostume section abundant.nKids linen well appointed.nVery large rugs section.nnPro tip, take a trolley in with you so you can get through it quick!nSo many well stocked sections.nnCherry staff ;nThanks team
Shocking store. I dread having to go here. They refuse to retrieve click and collect orders from the counter at the front of the store even when there are no customers to serve. They make you go to the very back left corner at the “sewing” counter to get your click and collect and you have to line up with all the people getting fabric cut and measured. This seems absolutely ridiculous when click and collect is intended to be fast. Today there were maybe 10-12 people with rolls of fabric over their shoulder waiting to get it cut and I had to wait with them for 1 tiny package instead of going to the counter at the front which had no one! On top of that, all the staff seem permanently confused. The right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing. You keep asking where something is and they send you to another person like some quest. The store is a mess. They don’t even know where their stock is. So you can’t click and collect because of the inefficiency and you can’t shop in store because of the mess and lack of staff help. Avoid if possible.
Great team, plenty of stock always. We come at least once a week and they are friendly and helpful
Good range of products. Some things are super expensive like twine. Twine is so much cheaper at Bunnings. What keeps me away is the staff, in particular on my last visit were so rude. I asked for some help with the fake flowers and I was made to feel like I was asking for a lung. Another staff member had a go at my kids who were standing beside me. I asked the lady to address me not my children directly if they are standing next to me. Her answer to me was, make sure they behave. I asked her how were they misbehaving; and she just shook her head and walked away. I understand everyone is entitled to a bad day. However this particular store seems to have some very unhappy staff. After the way that staff member spoke to me and reacted I put all my shopping down and walked out.
