Everything you never knew you wanted until you visit here. I went in for two things and came out with five. They have put more products into the store since my last visit, and it is a challenge to get a wheelchair or a pram through the aisles. A fantastic range of all types of things for the home from linens, manchester, and curtains to everything you need to decorate it and make it nicer. They have a lovely selection of all the best things Spotlight does best - fabric, sewing supplies, wool, and items for almost any craft. They also have a great party section with everything you need for a special event or holiday themed party. Being a VIP member joining is free gives discounts on most purchases and reward points. Great place to shop or just explore and dream.
Recently placed a click and collect order at this store. Have done so in the past and had no problems.nThis time however things had been changed.nI proceeded to the front checkout as I have done in the past to collect my order. Here I was met by a disgruntled woman who upon being told that I was there to pick up my order growled at me that I had to go to the sew counter. Pretty poor practice as most places give instructions in an email. No such instructions were included.nI stated that it would have been nice if there was a sign saying this.nShe replied with another growl that there was.nIt took four of us about 5mins to locate their miserable excuse for a sign. It is an A4 black and white sign jammed into one of the millions of sign holders scattered all over the store. It blends in to all the other chaos.nI proceeded around the back seeing only one other poorly displayed sign with an arrow.nThe actual pick up point had no sign at all and is called a completely different name to what I was told.nThis store and it's staff need to pick up their act big time.nBetter customer service and more prominent signage would be a great place to start.nLeft this store feeling angry and disappointed.
Manjit at the Logan Super Centre store was so friendly and kind. She truly loves her job and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Manjit you’re amazing!
Two stars is because the gentleman at the front counter was pleasant. If it was based on the lady who served me at the fabric cutting counter the score would be 0. I can't recall the last time I received such appalling service.
While the store itself seems to be your run of the mill spotlight, I found the staff to be almost nonexistent. Don’t expect to find a staff member to help you with any queries let alone find that particular item you trekked there for. Ending on a positive note, there was only 2 other customers in the entire store which was a change from the hustle and bustle you usually find in a spotlight.
