Every visit to this magical store is a pure temptation for a quilter or crafter. However, I have noticed that in recent months, the quality of some of the fat quarters is sub-standard. The dyes used lack vibrancy, and the fabrics are made of a low thread count. It appears that the Spotlight buyer does not understand quality and has contracted a supplier based on price alone. Come on, Spotlight, don't underestimate your customers' needs.
We had a problem with our sewing machine. Michelle from the sewing section was extremely helpful and solved our problem with extreme ease. Her very pleasant and courteous manner is to be acknowledged.nThanks for the great service. Will definitely shop there again.
I went to the store to purchase a custom length of simple white satin ribbon. I was served by Jennifer at the fabrics counter. She did not feel it was necessary to greet me, simply just starred at me, looked me up and down and was extremely rude the entire time. I was friendly throughout the whole process, asked her how she was and smiled however she responded with looks of disgust and not speaking at all. Her behaviour was completely unnecessary. I work in retail myself, I understand it can be difficult at times but treating a friendly customer this way is never necessary or acceptable.
Bad customer service. Click and collect picked up, expensive yarn dropped by staff on busy unclean walkway. No apology. No common-sense used to bag 9 balls to protect cleanliness and assist with carrying. Staff were ignorant to customer needs and the service they provided
I was sold a faulty product and no one in the store wants to help. This is the last time I shop in this dodgy place. I have lodged a claim with offi e of fair trade in hope this does not happen to anyone else
