"We are a family business specialising in rabbits and guinea pigs. We operate from our home in the Waitakere Foothills, with beautiful views of Auckland, yet only 20 minutes from the CBD. We bred rabbits for over 28 years, but we now rehome and board rabbits and guinea pigs. We sell rabbits, sometimes guinea pigs, hutches both outdoor and indoor, also second hand, NRM pellets, hay, bottles, bowls, brushes, trimmers, carry cages etc. Some of these are also suitable for guinea pigs, cats and dogs. We courier pellets, hay and accessories. We board rabbits and guinea pigs, and we sometimes rehome them, by negotiation. We also offer services such as trimming claws, grooming, dosing, sexing, and health checks. Get in touch with us!"

Meryl is doing an essential service. She has been doing a fine job rehoming rabbits. More than what the SPCA can offer. I wish her all the best with everything she does. Thank you for your help when all other places did not help.
Such a beautiful experience of buying a rabbit buck from Meryl who is such a lovely lady. First time owning a rabbit, my grand daughter was very excited of her new pet and she was very happy after a few hours of petting and cuddling the buck as they bonded quicky. Price was cheap NZ $30 for a 6 month old neutered buck. I recommend this place if you're wanting rabbit.
Been to this place a couple of times. Brought two rabbits and accessories from Meryl. She is a passionate person for rabbits and with tons of experience with Rabbit care. Highly recommendable. Best place in Auckland to adopt a bunny.
We purchased from Meryl over a year ago before doing proper research. What we witnessed back then of the conditions & handling of the rabbits is absolutely heart breaking now as we are now more educated on how to properly care for a rabbit! Also majority of the advice given was poor & uneducated! This is one of the MANY BREEDERS that should be shut down! Picking up the rabbits by the scruff of their necks & allowing these beautiful animals to live in such poor conditions. Horrible experience. I am disgusted to have done business with this place but thankful we rescued our beautiful guy from this rabbit hell!
Bought hay once from here and saw the conditions the rabbits were living in. She had the audacity of showing me her yard with all the rabbits living in terrible cages with wire mesh as bases. Absolutely appalling. This woman's practices should have been stopped long ago. People who've been giving her 5 stars must have been hallucinating. Would give zero stars if I could.
Great place to get rabbits clean well cared for large variety from babies to adults all different breeds. Great service and prices
When we had a rabbit wander onto our property and despite best efforts couldn't find an owner, Meryl at Shiloh Rabbits was the only person willing to help us out we phoned 5 different places!. She was able to tell us a bit about the little guy we had found and was happy to help find him a more permanent home. Not only this but she has a wonderful selection of hutches and accessories etc. Thank you Meryl, we are so grateful for your help and know that he is safe in your hands. We would happily recommend you to any of our friends or family!
Your one stop shop for all things rabbit! Shiloh Rabbits has been the BEST find since we adopted our two buns. I am a regular for their hay and pellets and will definitely be utilizing her services and products more as/when required. Super helpful and provides sound advice. I've been to the premises, it is large, well kept, and set up appropriately to cater to our furry friends. They work hard and are great at what they do. Thank you!
I'm so happy with my wee boy that I adopted from Meryl a few weeks back. He's settled into the family so well and has really grown a boisterous personality! I can't thank Meryl enough for all her help - she's extremely informative, kind, helpful, and downright genuine. I was so worried walking in to adopt my first bun, but Meryl really helped put me at ease and made me feel more confident in my adopting. I couldn't be happier!
