The company is a privately owned family business that has been servicing the hospitality industry for over 50 years.

Service Sphere holds the Australian agencies for many world leading brands including Astoria, Rancilio and La Cimbali Espresso Machines; as well as Rheavendors Coffee Vending Machines and Eversys Swiss Coffee Systems. These brands, coupled with industry leading infrastructure and the implementation of the latest technology, offer a true national solution to the coffee industry.

Service Sphere specialises in servicing large national companies and offers custom-designed preventative maintenance schedules along with a 24/7 reactive service program through a national network of factory-trained technicians.

Had the pleasure of getting my coffee machine repaired by Service Sphere. The whole process from go to whoa was one of the smoothest and most professional experiences that I have had in quite some time. Courteous, experienced and such knowledgable staff. Thank you, thank you and thank you.

Really disappointing experience overall. My partner and I dropped the coffee machine off in person a few Saturdays ago (that was when they were open Saturdays). All of our personal information was collected on the day as well as a background on the issue we'd been experiencing with the coffee machine. We left the coffee machine with Service Sphere and were told we'd receive a call in a few days when it was ready to be collected. I then receive an email the following Monday (2 days later) with an online form that needed to be completed before the repair work could be commenced. I wasn't able to tend to this until the following day. So at that point, we were now 5 days without the coffee machine. Yes, I appreciate it's a very first world problem however in the context of reviewing customer service, this company unequivocally sucks. After jumping through a couple of hoops to get a simple button replacement. Two weeks later and the coffee machine was finally "delivered" to our home. We were told we could no longer collect the machine from Service Sphere on a Saturday as they were no longer open Saturdays. For your reference, they are however open Mon-Fri and during standard business hours..for anyone who is lucky enough to not be at work during that time. Because we weren't able to collect the machine during business hours (who the f is??) a courier was scheduled to deliver the machine to my home. I was told someone would need to be home between the hours of 9am-5pm on the Wednesday. Furthermore, if no one was available to take receipt of the machine, there would be a penalty fee applied. So I organise to work from home on the Wednesday however unable to leave the house at any time in fear of missing the delivery and being penalised. Then at long last the coffee machine finally arrives at 3:20pm...but not to my door..instead it's delivered to the McDonalds 100m down the street from my apartment, because the driver couldn't find the apartment building. Seriously, get it together people. From start to end, the whole process (or lack there of) just sucks. Thankfully there are a plethora of Melbourne based alternatives for coffee machine repairs.
