We booked the FOMO $5 parking in the CBD and booked my birthday dinner in the City nearby...we came to park our car here early in the afternoon to shop around in the CBD....the location of the carpark is difficult to find and very confusing when using Google Maps Navigation....but we got there and was able to find a carpark very quickly .....no hassle and it was a good deal overall.....ya the entrance is at a weird location but overall it's fine....
The car park changed its policy last week without putting signs up - it is no longer a 24 hour car park. I have parked here for 2 years without any issues. I called customer service and was told that I was unable to get my car out before 530am unless I paid $125. The organization that manages the car park should consider women’s safety when changing their policies and offer a grace period for those impacted. It is not safe to wait outside a car park in the early hours of the morning.
This car park changed it policy. There were no signs or notification that the car park closed after 12am. They charge $125 for someone to come and let you take your car out. Our only other option was to wait until 5am. There were 3 other groups in the same situation and none of us were notified of the change. If the car park is going to close after 12am, they should update their website and signs.
Awful experience last night. Cars backed up to level 4 with no one able to exit as boom gate wouldn’t open for anyone. Spent 45 minutes waiting for someone to come and fix. No apology or refund was forthcoming.
Disappointed that I even have to give them one star. I have been parking with them for years. They have decided to change their times but didn’t display this information anywhere. I am a young female stranded in the city.. early hours of the morning and their response was just wait till 5:30 the next day and pay $30 or you can pay the call out fee of $125. If they have had 24/7 access and decide they want to close at midnight now they need to make everyone aware of it.. I wasn’t the only one stuck in the situation but I was the only one by myself on the streets with a lot of money and valuables! NOT HAPPY, will be taking this further. They didn’t even care!
2 terrible experiences at this carpark. I've parked here around 20 times and usually not a problem. However one night I was trapped in for 3 hours as the ticket machine did not accept my card which had funds on it. I was on hold on the help line and it hung up after over an hour of waiting twice. I ended up having to try to fit between the boomgate which resulted in a smashed window and me being late to my day job. It cost over $200 to repair. But I did manage to get out. Then - On friday night after parking for a few hours from 12:37am - 6:00am, the machine tried to make me pay $90. After getting through to the customer service she put the amount on the machine up the front which once again wasn't accepting my card. She had hung up before I tried to pay so I had to wait on hold again and then had to give them my payment over the phone. It should have been free for the amount of my time this carpark has wasted all they care about is my $20 than to make a customer happy. I will never be back. It was so convenient because it is right next to my night job so it's a shame.
Pre-booked a parking spot as I love the convenience, unfortunately my vehicle did not fit due to the height restriction. Requested a refund for the pre-parking fee paid. RE: Booking Reference 8004333UP6L1 The maximum height is shown on all of the car parks web pages see below. The below information is from our FAQs. Regards, Darren” Can you find any evidence of basic customer care / empathy? Upon reviewing the app on my phone, could not find the mentioned warning of the height restriction. I only lost $10, but will not support a business which shows such disdain for its customers. **I have sent a screenshot which shows there is no mention of height restriction on the mobile site.**
Boom gates came down on the boot of my car. Be careful when exiting if you need to stop to give way. Also, twice now my ticket has been 'unreadable' which means i have to call for assistance. Today i waited 25 minutes for someone to answer back and correct the issue. Lady on other end is not doing a great job at managing ticket issues.
It's cheap if you pre book and close to my work. It's probably too far from any major shopping areas of you're going for that. It's also really narrow and I'm constantly concerned that I'm going to scratch my paint. Also there are posts that separate you from the gate machine so entering your parking code can be challenging
Handy location, reasonable rates if booked online. Not too huge so easy to get in and out. Only downside is that the exit/entry are single lanes so if you get stuck behind somone having trouble with their pin/ticket..then it can be a long wait.
