Very disappointed. Would not recommend. I was travelling with another 2 groups. Our powered site although muddy was ok to put a tent on for the night. However my daughter, husband and their friends had booked 2 non powered sites. Both received calls to provide check in code as no office hours after 12pm. At no time were they told the sites they had booked were under water. When we arrived the non powered sites were under inches of water. Rang the number to see if any other sites available but was told it was fully booked even though there were spare sites. Asked if we could set up.in area not for camping which after some discussions was finally allowed. Camp kitchen was dirty, BBQ had rat poo and not cleaned..so glad to leave.
Would definitely Not recommend this caravan park. Not tourist friendly at all. We stayed two nights here, we had booked a grass site but when we got there it was torrential. The actual site we were supposed to be on the power box was that far away it was ridiculous, so Glenda the manager reluctantly moved us to the next site closer to the power box. If she had any decency she could have moved us across the road to a drier site but no she left us in ankle deep water. The toilet didn’t have any hand soap Not really Covid safe. The clothes dryer you kept feeding it money but it was only warm and didn’t dry them. A local of the park told us it has been that way for a long time. Yea
Coomera Holiday Village is a very friendly park to stay at, the staff are very accommodating. Glenda has been kind and helpful to find a site due to the size of our van. There are new amenities as well as the older blocks all of which I have found to be always clean and tidy. I would have no hesitation in recommending the park for short or longer stays.
Stayed here only to be close to family for Christmas. Will never stay again and would not recommend. Upon arrival the office was closed so we rang the contact number, person who answered said we had no booking and they were not expecting us. Despite email confirmation and processed payments. Was given gate code over phone and told to drive through. Not initially advised where to go so we just drove around. From what we saw the majority of the park is permanent residents and that area was ghetto. The tourist area was grassy uneven sites. Toilet facilities were basic, and requires more cleaning than they received. BBQ area was dirty and gross. Swimming pool was clean and maintained. On site manager/ care taker was not welcoming. Way overpriced. Wondering if this is a franchised park as I would like to make a direct complaint with the park owners.
This caravan park is an absolute gem. The staff are so helpful and go out of their way to accommodate. The amenities and grounds are clean and well maintained. Close to all major shopping centres and theme parks. We will definitely be back.
Great small park to stay in with large blocks. Clean facilities. Very helpful and polite staff. Right near a busy road. I wear ear plugs so didnt bother me. Park is full of permanents. Felt very safe.
Quick overnight stay but great service, friendly staff. Brand new toilets and showers, lovely clean little park. Out site was near the main road but it didn't disturb us at all. Lots of bins around so rubbish not an issue. Would 100% return.
Nothing special but was close to place we wanted to go. Good sized level sites, amenities were clean and fairly large. We were on side road and copped a fair bit of road noise. Had power but no water, at $46 per night you expect both.
Ok let’s start with after reading some of the reviews before arriving I was thinking hope this is going to be ok. But after now staying at this park for 9 days I can not fault it. Yes where we camped the road was close by but that did not bother us at all and when we were in our van you could not even hear the sound of traffic going by. The bins were empty daily some times twice the showers and toliets also clean. Most of the other campers were also friendly and it just had a really great Vibe. Would i recommend staying at this park absolutely. So if I do end up coming back up to Queensland for another holiday I would stay here again. Also another little bonus the theme parks are really close.
I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The bathrooms are a joke, the so called new bathroom were disgusting. The first bathroom had hair all over it and the person who had been in there before couldn’t be bothered flushing. Second bathroom had hair and it looked like the shower hadn’t been cleaned, they provided a ‘mop’. Well if you would like us to clean the shower then it should be a free caravan park. There were other amenity blocks but the keys didn’t work on them. So we were stuck with choosing between the two above or the disable bathroom which you couldn’t lock and any one could walk on in.
